How are you getting on since submitting your additional information? We’ve heard nothing! 

Not heard anything been asking MB to ask what sort of time frames for the underwriting process so still waiting.

We’re in exactly the same boat, I hope they hurry up! We’ve had our application in over 12 weeks now 😩

Hello everyone.... glad to give a positive update. My MB just confirmed that we have finally received our mortgage offer today.

22/10/2020 - Application submitted
23/10/2020 - Hard credit search
17/11/2020 - Additional information requested
26/11/2020 - Valuation performed (although significant delays in the report being issued)
30/11/2020 - New build property completed
14/12/2020 - Another hard credit search
21/12/2020 - Case escalated (as completion date was missed)
07/01/2021 - Feedback on valuation and additional information requested.
12/01/2021 - Mortgaged offer confirmed

Great news. Quite a few people I’ve been speaking to seem to be getting offered just recently

Just thought I would update. Had our verbal offer on Friday 08/01/21 and today solicitor has received paperwork from Vida.
There is a change of circumstances form which requires filling and true Vida style, this is currently taking 10 working days for them to process before they will release the funds. Just a heads up for everyone to factor this in when you’re looking at completion dates.

I've noted a few others have mentioned this. Is it your solicitor or your MB that will send the completed change of circumstances form to Vida?

Vida send it to your solicitor. Your solicitor then needs to send it to you, for you to fill in and return to your solicitor. Why Vida can’t just send it out with the mortgage offer I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Congratulations thas really positive news. 

We’ve been told today it’s another 35 day wait to get back to underwriters from submitting our further documents, which was only proof of address. How can this even be right? Our application went in middle of October. I’m losing my mind 😩
