I have no idea to be honest. Sent everything at application, then they came back and asked for more stuff on the 6th November. My valuation was completed more than 2 weeks ago, and apparently the underwriter was looking at everything on Friday but still haven’t heard anything. On their website it says 37 days and then also 29 days.... I don’t know what the difference is with them both?SarahMayhtb said:
It’s driving me insane, i think ours must be a similar timescale! do you know what date your documents were accepted? We were told ours was the 20/10 after submitting the application the week before. Which will make today 36 working days. Have you had any other credit searches? We haven’t had anything 😩Amy32 said:It’s just never ending isn’t it. I can’t understand why their SLAs keep increasing when they have reduced their residential mortgages to focus on their existing applications! We applied first week of October 😩0 -
And with the credit searches I am not sure.... which sounds daft. But basically there was a search at the end of October I think it was but when I looked again recently I didn’t see anything on there 🤷🏼♀️SarahMayhtb said:

We had one at the end of October too I believe. I just don’t get why their sla’s are still increasing. It’s torture waiting 😔Amy32 said:And with the credit searches I am not sure.... which sounds daft. I emailed my MA yesterday for an update but haven’t heard back yet!0 -
If this is anything to help: Vida did eventually offered us. It did take a while. Please hold the faith.0

Thanks. My MA just rang me back and said he has spoken to Vida today and they have said that it should get looked at tomorrow but they also said that about Monday! How long did it take yours? Our MA said this is the longest he has ever known a decision to take.kays69 said:If this is anything to help: Vida did eventually offered us. It did take a while. Please hold the faith.0 -
The wait has increased again today, surely their timescales should be going down with no new residential applications. I honestly can’t believe it’s taking this long 😩Amy32 said:

@Amy32 I just don’t understand how any of us are ever going to get any answers and then I’m worried about what the other number is on their website! Surely that’s not another wait all over again?0

Unfortunately it is. Our mortgage advisor said yesterday that he had asked Vida about it and they have said that if the underwriter requires further information at the point they look for it then it’s another wait 😭 we have instructed our solicitor to write them a letter to see if that does anything.SarahMayhtb said:@Amy32 I just don’t understand how any of us are ever going to get any answers and then I’m worried about what the other number is on their website!
