This is my thinking, know reading replies people have posted, one only took 17 working days till offer. Though some others have not been processed as they would have liked, hoping all good people on here get what they truly wish....Rickydewitt said:
Hmm interesting for sure, I mean it seems it’s different strokes for different folks lol especially reading how some people’s timelines are different to others.bell2020 said:No idea. We haven't had a hard search done as far as i can see!Does anyone know if you can ask VIDA to instruct the valuation early ? We’ve been messed around by our first broker so we’ve been in this mess for 6 weeks bluestone and now we’ve gone with Vida
Hoping it’s within a 4 week timeframe, my report is good no defaults, no missed payments and cc under 1k.. just partner is ok not the best.
just hoping for good news for a change.0 -
Doesn't make sense does it.
We are 3 weeks in and no valuation or update or anything. Its really frustrating! Praying for an update tomorrow before the weekend. Hate not hearing anything before a weekend and then having to wait till Monday 😭

So today was eventful, the sellers who we are buying off have had their mortgage so they are being pressured by their seller In turn we are being pressured. The estate agent called me today saying all the sellers want is for us to get an evaluation done so it instils faith in the process so I told my broker to ring VIDA and instruct the evaluation, apparently you can instruct the evaluation if you have paid the fee, I know this because a friend used VIDA before and he got the valuation done within the first week. Once they instruct it you can then tell the estate agent to call the valuation company and they can book it for you: just some info.

Frustrating for you being in a chain. We aren't, thankfully. Ah that's good to know. We paid the valuation and product fee upon application but no mention of valuation being booked 🙄0

Application went in on 14th October.Soft search/Hard search carried out, 14th October. Did this happen to anyone else, that quick for a search.0

After pushing hard and escalating we’ve just been told our valuation has been instructed!!I’ve noticed, you need to stay on top of your broker and VIDA. We trust our broker but at the moment all brokers have a high amount of applications they are dealing with. Keep pushing everyone 🙏🏽Ricky Dewitt0 -
Yes, I got my offer a few weeks ago from Vida. I also instructed the valuation early as I was getting pressured from my vendors. It's a risk as if you do not get offered the mortgage then you'll lose your valuation fee. If they refuse after underwriting but before they have done the valuation, then you get the valuation fee refunded.Rickydewitt said:So today was eventful, the sellers who we are buying off have had their mortgage so they are being pressured by their seller In turn we are being pressured.
