Ours was submitted on the 24th and they did a hard search that day. On the 25th our broker asked us if we had taken any payment holidays, our reason for having bad credit, to have the gifted deposit form completed and to pay the application fee. Other than that, they haven't asked for anything else. I think we were initially told 9 working days too, then it's been extended a couple of times since. I was concerned that they might come back to us this week asking for more, but our broker checked and they seem happy with everything we've submitted. I still don't feel confident though. Just want to know one way or another what's happening!bell2020 said:
Did you? Have you had any questions or anything? Our app went in 24th. But they asked us for extra documents on the 29th which I sent across the next day but they weren't submitted until 1st October. Broker originally said it was 9 days from application but then it changed straight away to 11 working days. We hadn't heard anything last week so she said she thinks the 11 working days is from the day we submitted extra documents. So the 11th working day should of been last Friday. I haven't heard from broker since last Tuesday. I have emailed requesting an update and for valuation to be instructed but not heard anything. Our broker has used a packager so she has to chase them and then they chase the lender. Its becoming ridiculous now though!! Were in a caravan with young children and we desperately want to be out of here before it gets colder or we have a lockdown!!! Arghh!!JaneEyre said:
We applied the same day as you. Had hoped to hear last week, but our broker got in touch with them and was told it's likely to be Wednesday this week before we hear anything.bell2020 said:Hoping to have an update today or I'm actually going to lose the plot!
Fingers crossed you hear soon. Keep us updated 🙂
Our broker has been great, keeping us updated through whatsapp and responding quickly to any queries.
I hope you hear something soon and can get moving before winter sets in. I'll keep you updated!0 -
Ohh yeah I have that one too. Ill have a look! No don't worry, I'm the same. I feel like I'm beginning to lose my mind through all of this 😆Resnik001 said:
I just use the free money saving expert credit club, powered by Experian... saves me paying the 14.99 fee. Apologies for all the question I say to you lovely people.bell2020 said:
Not sure sorry, I haven't seen a heard search done on ours. I cancelled our subscription with Experian after our application went in and its not showing a search on Equifax.Resnik001 said:
Can I ask, when Vida do the hard search. Was that the day application went in?.bell2020 said:Hoping to have an update today or I'm actually going to lose the plot!0 -
Similar to us then really. We haven't been asked our reason for bad credit but we are on an active DMP and have been for 5 years so maybe that's why 🤷♀️ i don't know. I've asked for valuation to be booked in but still haven't heard back. Vida seem to have a back log don't they as it now says 16 working days for underwriting on their website!JaneEyre said:

Good Morning Guys,
just to let you know we FINALLY received our offer from Vida this morning via email via our MB and we will receive a copy in the post in the next couple days. Our Solicitor already has searches back and authority to proceed from help to buy but they now need to send mortgage offer to Help to buy I think to get authority to exchange which will take another 2 weeks. Hang in there guys!!2 -

we sent our application off to Vida on 3rd September so around 51 days? We had an issue with my fiancées ID has she hasn’t been on electoral roll for 2 years somewhere, so had to dig out some old documents from an address in 2018 and then that put us to back of Queue with them checking docs I think. Valuation was done on 1st October. Just want to get exchanged now1
