That’s good to know Ricky, means I can have some sort of timeline appreciate every application is different from the next person. Just setting small milestones, I was going to go myself but decided better if a joint app. Lol, thought they were going to work on Christmas Day... Yes, I think people on here say after valuation it might be quick.Rickydewitt said:
Yeah same ours went in 3-4 days before yours, literally hate waiting. At least the valuation is happening as I type this. I'm just worried as it draws into December as I've heard solicitors shut up early for Christmas. I think once an offer is issued we all can relax lol.Resnik001 said:
Same here mate 😂, doe being pushed by the seller. So we added that onto the application. Am sure another 2-3 weeks should hear either way. If app went in on the 14 of this month, then worst case should hear something 4 weeks from that date.Rickydewitt said:
Did you get your Date of exchange from HTB or VIDA? Sorry, I'm new to this ha ha. We are not doing HTB, just normal application and buyResnik001 said:
We have a doe 1st dec, but due to being HTB Scotland it takes 2 weeks to complete once hopefully offer comes through. Just have to wait, but looking very tight.Rickydewitt said:
Sounds perfect! Glad you guys are near the finish line. I really hope we get in our home just before this year finishes. Our valuation is tomorrow. I hope it goes OK, VIDA are just taking ages with any updatesjmilne said:
Thank you. No they didn’t actually, it was just the ID we had issues with. We have may - August bank statements as our application was sent off September 3rdRickydewitt said:
Yes! Congratulations this is positive news! May I ask if they asked for any more bank statements as they took 51 days or were they happy with the intial 3 month bank statements you had sent it at the time of application? Our Statements date from July to Sept but as we are drawing closer to Nov I'm worried they may ask for more? At least your 1 step closer. Our valuation is next Thursdayjmilne said:Good Morning Guys,
just to let you know we FINALLY received our offer from Vida this morning via email via our MB and we will receive a copy in the post in the next couple days. Our Solicitor already has searches back and authority to proceed from help to buy but they now need to send mortgage offer to Help to buy I think to get authority to exchange which will take another 2 weeks. Hang in there guys!!Though someone already escalated due too exchange taking place this week, wonder if you can pay extra to expedite.0 -
Hi Everyone, just an update however I'm not sure how much this helps but I was told today by my MB that VIDA have pulled 80% & 85% LTV products for new business, there seem to be so busy. Hopefully this means they can concentrate on current applications. I don't think this effects any of us who have apps in with them right. Happy FridayRicky Dewitt2

i really hope it doesn't affect us other wise i'm buggered!0

Just been told that when an app is submitted then it secures the product you applied for. Should be all good but I mainly thought I would share as it means they probably now can spend more time on apps they have rather than keep building their queues upRicky Dewitt1

Thanks for sharing.
We have been told they are currently working at applications submitted on 29th September. We submitted ours on 24th but extra documents were requested on 29th which I sent that evening but they didn't receive until the 1st October apparently.
Packager said some lenders are that busy that they're not even getting to their non escalated pile. Applications can only be escalated with a solicitors letter stating they are at risk of losing their property!0 -
That's good to know about the solicitors escalating process, hopefully we do not need to do thatbell2020 said:Thanks for sharing.
