Kind off in the same boat, except date of entry was marked 1st December so hoping that’s enough time 😊alanastill12 said:we have been over a month waiting now - we got it escallated and now going to be completed in 72 hrs apparently as we were supposed to get keys this weekend - we are in scotland so a bit diffrent how things work hoping for the best0 -
Hi my friend, really good news that you have that offer another milestone checked out. That is how am trying to mentally prepare for this, not thinking of getting the keys... small steps like DIP, offer, mortage application, offer etc. If I start to think too far ahead I’ll just end up making myself sick. We are HTB, though that might take 2 weeks for my solicitor to sort that... But we are hoping to move in 1st December as the people want the cash 😂.jmilne said:

Excellent news mate, well done. What was your actual timeline throughout mate.jmilne said:Good Morning Guys,
just to let you know we FINALLY received our offer from Vida this morning via email via our MB and we will receive a copy in the post in the next couple days. Our Solicitor already has searches back and authority to proceed from help to buy but they now need to send mortgage offer to Help to buy I think to get authority to exchange which will take another 2 weeks. Hang in there guys!!
we sent our application off to Vida on 3rd September so around 51 days? We had an issue with my fiancées ID has she hasn’t been on electoral roll for 2 years somewhere, so had to dig out some old documents from an address in 2018 and then that put us to back of Queue with them checking docs I think. Valuation was done on 1st October. Just want to get exchanged nowSo am praying and hoping that this all comes together.0 -
Yes! Congratulations this is positive news! May I ask if they asked for any more bank statements as they took 51 days or were they happy with the intial 3 month bank statements you had sent it at the time of application? Our Statements date from July to Sept but as we are drawing closer to Nov I'm worried they may ask for more? At least your 1 step closer. Our valuation is next Thursdayjmilne said:Good Morning Guys,

@jmilne yayyy, congratulations you guys! Really happy for you!
19th working day since application and still no update. So much for the initial 9 working days 🙄 ridiculous now. Have been told they won't proceed to valuation until they are happy to either. Makes me feel like something is wrong 😭1 -
Thank you. No they didn’t actually, it was just the ID we had issues with. We have may - August bank statements as our application was sent off September 3rdRickydewitt said:

We have a doe 1st dec, but due to being HTB Scotland it takes 2 weeks to complete once hopefully offer comes through. Just have to wait, but looking very tight.Rickydewitt said:

Same here mate 😂, doe being pushed by the seller. So we added that onto the application. Am sure another 2-3 weeks should hear either way. If app went in on the 14 of this month, then worst case should hear something 4 weeks from that date.Rickydewitt said:

Yeah same ours went in 3-4 days before yours, literally hate waiting. At least the valuation is happening as I type this. I'm just worried as it draws into December as I've heard solicitors shut up early for Christmas. I think once an offer is issued we all can relax lol.Resnik001 said:
