Doing stuff is over rated :D... What your on Xmas!!! Lol your already ahead of the game  :) hope you are OK.

I need to do a basics list start getting bits in, I've paper under the bed, no sellotape, no cards, no tree 😂.

Shoes for DD better than too small I guess  :o bit of room for growing.

I randomly picked up 2 pairs grey Jersey school trousers for the niece for winter from the charity shop so was chuffed not sure if they are posh enough for school but I've said I will take the flack if she gets sent home 😉 all stress isn't it. So pleased school went well your end.

Hope you manage to rest a bit or just do something nice for you.

  • Thank you Sam. Have to start early with the five of them, it was just £7 on a marvel jigsaw for DS2.

I am absolutely exhausted. Think its wrong time of the month mixed with back to school/dance. Ive hardly moved off the sofa after the children have left for school and ive set DS2 up with work. My house is driving me insane! I just want a nice, clean, tidy, clutrerfree home but there just isn't enough room with all of us.

I seem to have spent way too much this week. Girls have needed things like glue sticks and scissors that I haven't had to buy for school before. DS1 needed a new bag for college as his zip has gone. Had to buy ankle supports for dance for DD2 as her ankle keeps giving way and shes fell down the stairs twice in the last few weeks, think it might be worth a visit to the doctors too. Some deeper cake tins as our cake on Monday came out looking like cookies (was still very edible though 🍪).

DD1 came yesterday to bring her hamster, we are hamster sitting for a week while they go away for their first anniversary. It is one spoilt hamster, his cages take up my table and he must have every treat and toy available in there. Its keeping the little ones busy trying to find him though.

I think I'm going to find the multivitamins out and give myself a good kick this week.

  • Well done on making a start. Good for you to rest a bit on the sofa. Pleased the hamster sitting is keeping some occupied. There's always so much to do isn't there 🤗 thought of you this morning as I put my washing on. 😂

  • Haha, ive had plenty of washing this weekend as haven't done any all week. Uniforms currently blowing in the wind.

I gave in yesterday, the children have been asking for weeks for a Mcd. £45 later and they were all fed! They can definitely wait another few years for another one. I did do it properly though, large meal, chocolate milkshake and Mcflurry 🤣 think I put the whole 10lb ive lost in the last few months back on.

Shopping has arrived 2 hours earlier than expected so all put away and just going to have a cup of tea and may drink it in the garden in the sunshine.

  • That's a nice image... fresh uniforms on the line in the wind, can really see it.

Good to have a treat now and then and saves making a meal/washing up. £45 sounds reasonable as you've all "had your fix" sort of thing. I totally love a mcd but only have it very rarely like twice a year 😂
Enjoy your cuppa in the garden its turned out quite nice here.

I have seen an ice cream van today, first time in about 20 years (!) but he came at lunchtime well 1,and roast beef was in the oven. I am now thinking 24/7 about a Mr whippy, and not the man the dessert 😋

  • weve had a lovely couple of days here too. I had been wanting a mcflurry for ages but was a bit too full to finish it. I keep saying I'm going to leave some change on the side fir the ice cream van but it always seems to arrive at the worst times.

DS first day back at his course today, as DH had been on nights we dropped him off then DH dropped me round the corner at my sisters. Had a cup of tea there then walked to pick up DS and then we walked home. Its the first time I've been out on my own in over 6 months and my legs were like jelly (from the walk and the anxiety), but we managed the 4km in the sun and DS fell asleep when we got home, he doesn'tcope well in heat.

Chicken dinner for tea as didn't manage it yesterday (I absolutely hate raw meat and DH didn't get up early enough to put it in the oven 🙈).

Spoke to DD, who has arrived in Edinburgh safely and just going to get the little 3 in bed (DH stayed up all day so he has just gone).
So it has been a whole day without spending anything, wont be tomorrow as DH wants some posts and plinths for the garden.

  • Sounds like you were brave, on the just getting out there and the walk  B) well done. Baby steps to build your confidence, but yay you did it and all on your own.
I'm not sure I know what posts and plinths are  :D it must be a man thing.
Take care of you and keep those good days coming.

  • just wrote a huge post and clicked on wrong button.
Sam, They're the concrete type for the garden fence. Feeling the ache in my legs today.
Unproductive day today as got DS to his course to find it doesn't start to next week, they were supposed to have let us know yesterday.
Went to garden centre and they have no plinths till october.
DH is going to drop the car at the garage in the morning and walk back past the other garden place so tomorrow may be a very expensive day.
I think I need to ring doctors too, spent most of the day running to the loo so think I might have an infection.
Think that was everything in shorter form. Going to get girls ready for school and try an early night.

  • Sorry to hear your under the weather and with everything going on at once -typical and always the way. Don't forget to call the doctors if you don't start to feel much better.
