Should have only paid off half the BNPL but I have problems getting in to the account every month so have used the yearly account to pay it off as I always have a little extra in there anyway, just in case.
Still not feeling great, so si tired and just can't sleep.
Hope you start sleeping better soon.LBM Aug 2017.

Thank you AdventureWanted.
I'm still not feeling great vut did sleep from 11 till 6 last night, the best sleep in ages. The children are full of colds, especially DS1 who doesn't usually get anything.
DD3 was asked to take part in a covid research thing and her results came back negative this morning so I'm a bit more at ease that it is just colds.
£108 off the debt yesterday and DH filled up the car. Took out £20 for DS1 bus fare (he should get this free but won't take his bursary forms in as it isn't in his designated area and he doesn't want to get into trouble even though that's where they have to go) and £10 for DD3 for school canteen, shes taking lunch but has asked if she can get snacks sometimes with her friends.
I've changed the washing over on the airer and put a load in and set the dishwasher going as forgot last night. Helped DS2 with his maths and English and I'm now under a blanket with a cup of tea (DH worked an extra shift last night so it'd be rude to make any noise while he's sleeping).LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Thank you. Because of the extra but they've added to tax credits for this year (the covid extra £1000 thing) it means we now get £37 a month working tax so they can't have school dinners. We never got it before so they would have qualified They might again from April. DS1 may still get his as the college rules are different (when he finally takes his forms in!) but he says canteens aren't open and he's been coming home for lunch as he has 1 lesson 9-10.30 and the next ones not until 3.
Just spoke to DD and mortgage advisor doesn't see a problem with them getting the mortgage they want. Just waiting now for them to get back to them. They could have a house by Christmas!LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

She was so excited yesterday. Just hoping they can get the deposit together. They have half but weren't actually looking yet, they just happened to see it.
DH bought pizzas and beer and a few other bits in his way home this morning so £23 spent there. Ive done a big shop for tomorrow but we won't get DH discount on it. Something from when he retracted his resignation it still cancelled his staff discount.
I couldn't get a delivery last week so been fetching bits as we needed them. Was supposed to take some chicken out of the freezer yesterday morning but forgot so tea last night was a bag of value pasta, 2 jars of value pasta sauce and 2 tins of hotdogs sausages chopped and all thrown into a pan together. Kids actually loved it and there's a bowl in the fridge for either 2 small portions or 1 teenage portion (can't believe how much my boys can eat!).
Today will probably be a quiet day as DH was on nights so just keeping the children quiet with tv and colouring.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Morning. Its been a quiet week. I started washing down the walls in the hall with sugarloaf ready for a coat of paint, I only managed the hall and my shoulder is still aching.
I have bought a dehumidifier. The house is so damp! The blind in our room is wet through and there's a lot of damp appearing in the bedrooms. It was the cheapest one I found (other than the minis) at £120 but had really good reviews. It arrived at 9 this morning so will set it up in a minute.
I wrote down all the 0% ends dates yesterday and Mcard is the first to end so will put any extra payments on that. I did notice that for the first time, Bcard aren't offering a balance transfer this month.
Looked at the bank yesterday and at the end of the month I sweep anything over to the monthly bills account. I'd lost track of what was for bills and what was 'extra. I did use a chunk for the BNPL last month but I've left a years worth of monthly bills money in there and swept the £700 left to a new account. I did use some for the dehumidifier but im going to let it build up for house things, like the new roof and getting the garden sorted. Its good to know that by just sweeping over along with the monthly payments that I now have the yearly bills money there and waiting and by separating it I can see how much we have for the house.
Now the emergency fund is at 1k i might drop the payment to £50 a month and start topping up the house fund as the roof is really needed (the bucket in the loft overflowed in the rain again the other day and water poured down the boys wall 🥺).
Right im off to get some breakfast and feed some children.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Haha, just read that first paragraph above and it definitely wasn't sugarloaf 🤣
Been a quiet week, we are all so so tired and ready for the week off. I really do hate the cold wet weather and struggle even more to get motivated. Ive hardly left the sofa all week.
Paid £145 to Bcard.
Dehumidifier is doing its job and I'm emptying the 2.5l tank every day, it would probably be more but I forget to check it in the day.
DH got paid yesterday and the few pence wage rise and his overtime were £200 extra very welcome.
Can't believe we are halfway through October already!
Need to work out my plan for Monday. Normally DH drops DS at the adult education centre and then me at my sisters. When its time I can then walk round corner to pick him up and we walk home as DH goes back to bed after his night shift. This week I can't as we are in tier 2. 2 hours is a long time to hang around but not sure im fit enough to do the walk both ways and don't want to rely on the bus as if it doesn't turn up/I can't get on it, DS wouldn't have a clue what to do if we weren't there to collect him. Its very rare i leave the house but im so ready for all this to be over with now.
Well I better drag myself off the sofa and sort the children some dinner, they're on games so not complaining yet.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Glad to hear you are all OK. I think it's been a funny month so far. Everyone seems exhausted that I know. Always good to have a plan b. Sorry to hear about tier 2, makes things so unpredictably difficult.
I pigged a sausage roll and a cake for dinner, and plus one did himself some noodles as I'm poorly so that's us done. Hopeful to muster up the energy for a roast tomorrow. Hope you get on OK and thinking of you and all your washing.
