  • Oh good luck tomorrow, sounds busy so hope you get on OK. Nice to be ahead with the CTax - takes the pressure off. You are very organised!

  • On my 3rd cup of tea. Checked bank and updated app. Washing on the line (should have done more than 1 load yesterday). DH is just sorting the car for its mot, hopefully once hes changed the bulb it'll go through fine and if that goes okay we are supposed to be meeting my dad at the seaside tomorrow for the day, haven't told the children yet, just in case it doesn't go to plan.

Gave up on the goals for August although budget stayed to plan (just) and I only lost 3lb compared to the 5 I wanted, but I've been really craving chocolate the last week so that probably didn't help.

    Can't believe its September already.

  • Hopefully a seaside day for you all being well with the car. I've been incredibly boring and caught up on all chores.
3lb still good, you'll get there. Do you have sugar in your hot drinks? I do and it's a killer for weight, but I've swapped to a sweetener ( not sure that will last long) at the moment.

  • Thank you Sam. No seaside,  the cars booked in to the garage as it failed, i don't think its too major but the mot runs out Thursday.
Sugar in my tea is the oy thing I have really changed. I could drink 10 or more cups of tea with 2 sugars in each. The 8lb in 2 months is mainly down to drinking it without sugar (found i don't drink as much without it either).

Spent £3 on bulbs and £35 on mot. £10 on plain masks for the children for school and £13 on pe bags (probably cheaper from supermarket but I really didn't want to go look).

DD1 just gone so going to get an early night and will catch up on diaries while DH is gone with the car in the morning.

    Thank you Sam.
Car was £55 and then passed but its going back in 2 weeks and thats about £300.
Asked DH to go and fetch the missing school bits after he picked the car up. Not a single pair of black school trousers (they have to have a crease) he picked up another pair but don't think I'm going to be able to iron a crease in. Black ankle socks I know DD2 will refuse to wear as they have a frill. And school shoes that have a patch that isn't polishable so may get sent home. He did get socks for DD3 and tights for DD2 so she can at least wear her skirt (luckily her shoes still fit, they were new in feb) and water bottles.

Fell out with DH majorly tonight and I've been finding things to do until he was asleep.

I'm going to try to get some sleep as DS swimming in the morning and then going to head to .y dads for a couple of hours with DD1 (the cause of the argument as DH wouldn't take us and I'm sure its why he left the mot till last minute, him and my dad don't really get on).

On the plus side, it'll be a cheap day as DH has the bank card and at the minute I'm not talking to him to ask for it 🤣 (yes I'm stubborn).

  • Sorry to hear you having a bit of a rough time. Hope you feel better today.
That is a lesson learned to me brought my niece some socks with frills on and they weren't popular 😂
Something in the water at the moment as don't think most people are sleeping as much. Hope you had a good day at dad's x

  • Thank you.
I didn't go to dads, I couldn't sleep then couldn't get up. I took DS to his swimming lesson, had a quick tidy up before my cousin came and cut the girls hair for me. I then went back with her and spent a couple of hours child free with her and my auntie. I have some very giddy girls tonight as DD3 starts secondary tomorrow and shes suddenly feeling sick. Hoping they settle soon.

Only spending today was £10 for my cousin for saving me a hairdressers trip.

  • DD2 seemed to enjoy school yesterday.  I have had to order some heel grips though. DH took her for her shoes and I didn't realise they were a bit big until yesterday morning.  Also ordered a jigsaw for DS2 for Christmas.

I haven't done much else at all, could just curl up and sleep.
