Thank you Sam. Ive not needed the doctors yet, hasn't got any worse but no better either. Will see how it goes over weekend.
DH filled in an application form Tuesday, they rang him yesterday for an interview today. He's been and has a trial tomorrow. The hours are fantastic for us. My worry is the pay, its only NMW and he would be doing an extra 13 hours a week for an extra £50. He could get that in 4 hour shift where he is but its leaving him exhausted working nights and working every weekend means we get no time as a family at weekends. I don't know if its worth the risk of changing job. Will see what he thinks to the trial.
Not much else done, although I've been trying to sort through the girls room in short bursts while they're at school. Its looking slightly better (mostly just stacked better so can see a few inches of floor 😂)LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

He loved the trial, I know its a lot less physically demandingon him. They said to ley them know before the end of the day, so he did, was told someone would ring him back but it was late and no one did. He took his notice in to work last night. He rang them again this morning and was again told they would ring him back, he said he had been on nights, they said it wouldn't be long. He stayed up, finally falling asleep at lunch time and still nothing!
I am now in a major panic that he has handed his notice in and not hearing anything back from the new job (I have absolutely sobbed today with panic).
DD1 is back from Edinburgh and has collected her hamster. She arrived with her OH, only the second time we have met him in the year they've been together, I was still in pyjamas, hair all over and house a complete tip. Looks like they've had a great time (although she didn't like the dungeons after being picked out from the crowd to take part lol). Shes going to call back in the week when kids at school to tell me all about it as kids were home we would be breaking the rules to let her in.
I've lost track of all spending, DH has done some shopping this morning but no idea what he spent. I was hoping to make the most of his discount next week but think they will take his staff card on his last shift Sunday (we thought he had to do 3 weeks notice but theyve said a week).

Oh bless you it's all been going on. Be nice to catch up with DD. I know the rule of six must be so hard with a family.
Hope all the new job all goes OK for DH sounds promising.

Still not heard anything about DH job.
I've done a shop for delivery tomorrow and cleared the mountain of rubbish and letters off the table to wash the cloth as DD spilt her drink.
Got the statement for the BNPL so will get that paid tomorrow.
Spent ages on the phone to DD tonight trying to sort her bank accounts and a budget. I sent her a house this morning that they really liked and I think they have decided to go into major house saving mode (shes been putting £200 a month away since she started work so has a little saved). Felt quite pleased she could ask about apps she could use to track her money, accounts and savings etc. A few years ago I was scraping for the next payday and now we are a month in front.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good morning. Ive not posted this week, I was really struggling. DH heard nothing about the job. He had to ring his boss and beg for his job back. Luckily they said yes and he was back as normal last night.
I had a huge dry food/toiletries shop in the week with what I thought was his last staff discount week, so we won't need any for a while.
Ive had a pretty busy week, left the house more times this week than i have in 6 months. DD1 saw a new build they both liked and asked me to go view it with her as her OH was working. Showed DH and he pointed out his nieces toys in the garden next door! They moved at the beginning of lockdown, DH has been a few times as he cuts the grass but I hadn't been yet. They loved the house and are waiting for a financial advisor to call them back and just spotted the one across the road has just gone up and its the same but 3 bed with a dining area, theyre going to look on Tuesday.
We switched bedrooms with the girls and spent £60 in them having whole new bedding, they had the teddy stuff, it looks so so comfy with new sheets, duvets and pillows. Our bed is now crammed in amongst all the toys, thats next weeks job, take through what they need and get rid of the rest.
Went to T@sco with DD, first time ive been in since i left. Luckily there seems a lot of new staff do didn't see anyone ive broken down in front of. She fetched all her kitchen bits microwave/plates/cutlery etc. Its all now stored in my conservatory ready for tgem finding a house.
I had £170 of highstreet vouchers and and £80 gift card that had to be used by Wednesday so went to Arg@s yesterday with DD1 but had to find things I wanted that were instock and got a hot cup (kettle that just does one cup of water), ive wanted one for sooo long. A good iron, i wanted a steam generator one but couldn't justify it when I usually only iron school shirts. A Hi-fi system DH has been looking at as we have been using DD1 and she will be taking that with her. A new quilt, ive been freezing in the 4 tog one the last few nights so a new 10.5 tog. I'm always cold and was tempted by the 15 but DH was already complaining I was making it too warm already 😂 And I bought DD1 a new knife set for her new house.
Feeling so tired, was hoping for a better night's sleep last night but ended up with DD2 in with me at 1 as her tummy hurt. After some calpol and a hot water bottle she went back to her own bed to watch TV for a while. She didn't come back so must have fallen asleep. She's still not up yet (okay, she walked through the door as I wrote that).
Going to have a cup of tea after the essay and ill catch up with diaries in a little while.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Glad DH got job back and all is well. I wouldn't worry about the staff in Mr T people are much more aware of MH than they used to be. No one would think any less of you but well done for being brave.
Good that you've been out and about and house for DD1 sounds great.
You have been so busy (!) the girls bedding sounds lovely. Quilt - same as me I'm sure plus one would have a 0.01 tog of he could and me a 50 tog
Pleased you have a new quilt, creature comforts and all that.
I need to have a sort out again but really not feeling it today so decided it can wait. I think this is definitely a shattered Saturday for us all.
