Sorry I have been MIA. Have managed to cross off most of the things on my list to be done in June. The only one that I could not do was to return some cream/shower containers to a certain shop to be recycled as they have temporary put a stop to that due to the virus. Will keep a hold of them until I hear further from the shop. Thankfully they do not take up too much room. Anything else that I manage to do for the rest of the month will be a blessing.
Grateful for:
Using the remaining money on a voucher(present) £3 to get a bunch of roses in my favourite shop. They were £3 so I got a free roses.
Getting out to do a few things done.
Having a chilled out evening.

Wow, Kerry Woman - that's impressive, getting your list done by only halfway through the month. Well done you!Today I am grateful for taking myself out for a walk to the building soc to pay in some money for dd, for discovering a new ch shop up the road, for no q in icyland so in I scampered, for a good counselling session, for the honeysuckle that I thought had been killed off showing some new shoots, for the boiler man giving us a start date for the work.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Dull day here, it rained like you would not believe - as soon as I went to bed last night, thunder and lightning, very very frightening DH. So not much sleep, but was thankfully much cooler afterwards. But steaming hot again all day from 8am even while storming again this afternoon. The courgette plants are loving this weather. I ate my first home grown peas.Nothing spent, all food from stores, made burgers and salad for lunch, and a noodle soup for tea that was really tasty! even the buckwheat noodles! Everyone ate it! Minor flippin' miracle! Plus got rid of 3 bits of packets of gyoza from the freezer (all different flavours/brands) and a packet of spring rolls too. Freezer tidying counts doesn't it??Found a chunky ball of wool, so taught DS3 how to knit after tea. He is making a very skinny scarf, it is over a foot long already. He thinks he is a genius.Made my duty phone calls, cleaned the kitchen, took DS1 to find out when and where his lessons will be next week. So I am going to have to get my head around getting into a routine again. Well for the last 4 weeks of term anyway.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Slightly strange but productive couple of days. Did lots of washing yesterday, including some of the couch cushion covers - mum kept assuring me it was a complete waste of time as they were dirty again within a week last time they were done (so I looked up Scotch guard spray for upholstery and there were handy videos etc). Had no problems ordering mum's repeat prescription (had actually been sent through to the chemist) but very glad I went through the list as two items had been missed off. Asked about my Debt and Mental Health Form and they can do it so posted that off to them and raised the possibility of a district nurse coming out to take both our bloods and check on the leg ulcer - we're pretty certain it's better but want someone to look at it before I leave the dressings off altogether.
Struggled to get through to the chemist to order my pills but succeeded mid-afternoon. Spent ages yesterday and today going through bits of paperwork and discarding as much as possible and stopping every few minutes to phone again (tried ring back twice but was hanging on for 5 minutes and no-one replied).
Frequent interruptions today from mum, who has been baking a cake. Allegedly this is to use up some of the eggs but she's used two full bags of sultanas (the ones I'd 'forgotten to buy'), then charged in to complain that I hadn't bought any SR flour (I gave her my storage jar full brought from home). She then rhymed off a list of miscellaneous items she 'needed' - neither of us had a pen or paper and I was trying to sieve flour at the time. I did say I'd tried to buy flour a couple of weeks ago but none of the 3 types arrived.
She had quadrupled the recipe quantities and I've had to heave the thing in and out of the oven 4 times to check if it was done - should have been an hour and twenty minutes but was longer because of the increased quantity. She used 4 eggs - if I'd boiled a pan of eggs I'd have used at least 8 in one go and only taken ten minutes. Ah well she's happy - I don't even like the cake so will be making lemon drizzle, ginger cake and carrot cake using adapted plain flour when I have time.
Scrubbed the base and screen of the shower. That was fun as one of the shower mats wouldn't stick so ended up working one handed and clinging onto one of the support handles for when one of my feet slid across. Next week it's back to doing the screen one day and the base the next day (after my shower).
Finally finished the mini raised bed behind the shed - it's 2 m long and about 30 cm wide and has an extra triangular bit (so it's like a wonky L shape) as I only had 2 straight pieces and no more ends and I need to leave space to put a bucket under the water butt. Planted up the broad beans which have grown to about 25 cm and then added nearly all the seeds (need to buy more plastic mesh to staple to the fence but have time to do that before they get bigger - the large ones are by the mesh I've already put up. Used all the available soil including scraping out the remainder of the bulk bag.
Today I am grateful for all the different things I've done (if I can clean the bits of couch that won't go in the machine tomorrow I'll have completed all I wanted to do for the week), for beautiful broad beans (sweet little rosettes of leaves), for hot showers, ibuprofen (not expecting to be able to move much tomorrow), 'In the Line of Duty', for getting there slowly.

Sorry haven't posted for ages - now up to 13 NSDs. Today will be a spend day as need to pop to the post office to send away my dad's father's day present. Grateful for video chats with family and friends, a hopeful easing of lockdown from tomorrow, coffee, seeing things that have been planted in the garden beginning to grow and finally being able to run properly againMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Morning
Not much to report, LO dropped off at nursery. OH gone to play golf with a friend, and I am working. Listed a compost bin on F@cebook yesterday, had someone asking if it was available so hopefully they buy it, bit more money to chuck at the loan. Bit worried about a friend, he keeps getting blindspots but the doctors can't find the reason so seem to think he's making it up, advised him to try talking to PALS, I'm worried if they don't do something it will just keep getting worse. Weird weather here, feels like it needs to thunder but hasn't, it's supposed to rain today as well but quite bright atm so not sure. Will probably do a wash and dry it inside, I can't really run in and out if it just drizzles intermittently
Grateful for cute observation from nursery of LO going down a slide on her own, looking forward to parks reopening to see what she can do, well known shoe store reopening and doing measurements, as LO needs some properly fitted shoes, I had to guess her size and for OH being able to go play golf5 -
Hey!
Operation New Bathroom is in full swing and I am a greasy, smelly so and so about to go into a Z00m meeting looking like I've brushed my hair with a pack of butter this morning. Ah well. It will definitely be worth it when it's done, and the toughest choice I'll have to make will be whether I'm having a bath or a shower.
Other than that, all quiet here... both my kids could be back at school but are not, as they're both working fine from home and are as smelly and greasy as me at the moment. I am still working from home too mostly, but am on the rota next week for babysitting teaching duties so will be out and about. Shopping was topped up Monday night and yesterday was a day indoors apart from a meeting with dd's form tutor over lunchtime. He told me she's doing well, doing all her work and hang on in there and look after your mental health. All stuff I was keeping an eye on anyway.

Exciting CCL a new bathroom I love baths but so many nice showers I have seen would be a hard choice. I slipped getting into bath the other night, left trace of hair dye conditioner in the bath and really bruised my other leg against the bath panel.Todays news my DD is leaving NZ and going to Canada to work on Saturday, pleased she has a job, accomodation and they have said they will find something for her bf as well. Its on Vancover Island, holiday resort looks amazing, Brown bears, Eagles, and trips from there for whale watching.. And I still can only go 5 miles !! So jealous.Going to attempt fruit shopping today, none in Morriseys yesterday so weird, no bananas, strawberries, raspberries and veg hardly anything at all. Here's hoping today is different.Grateful forDD new job and hooefully escaping NZ before winter gets tougher.New work dress keeping me cool.No rain last night after bench painting, half done, so many slats!LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/227

Good afternoon!
Ended up swinging by my parents after all - just for a few hours - and was lovely to see what a difference it made to Mum's day, She had her coat on when I got there and she said 'I'm ready to come home with you' - bless her. Anyway - Having a lazy few days - though feel like I should be doing something productive, I have taken an inventory of my cupboards and fridge/freezer so am doing some meal plans - and determined not to buy anything else except salad, fruit, milk etc as I go along to supplement meals on my list,. Want to run everything down by the end of the month.
Thanks Mothernerd for the goal review section. I can't believe it is mid-june already - and summer solstice is hurtling towards me. I'll set to do a review today and tomorrow.
NSD to date = number 6
Today I am grateful for:
1) My lovely little Mum and the time I get to spend with her
2) My Dad for trying his best to look after her in spite of his own challenges
3) My brother, his wife, and my sister for their help and support
Right - giving myself a kick up the derriere and going to get stuff done!!!
Have a great day everyone
