Abundant, would something like, 'ooh mum, let's have a cup of tea first?' help at all? We found that a cup of tea - and the making of one - was always a good distraction.

Just June, Just for Now
Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing.
My room is not untidy, I just have everything out on display. Like a museum.
Get rid of the mess so you can soak up the moments
I tried that Japanese decluttering trend where you hold each thing you own and throw it out if it doesn't give you joy. So far I've thrown out all the vegetables and the electric bill

Today I am grateful for getting some stuff to the charity shop, for some good spends in said ch shop, for my workout, for dd enjoying some of her class work today, for living in a very green country, for all the people who are offering classes etc on line, for a work colleague doing me a massive favour.

I decided to go into town and have a drink and a biscuit, it only cost me a bag of blood. The queues were ridiculous for the TK of Maxx and the banks- not my bank though, no queue, sailed in, used the machines, came back out. Not all the shops are open, no matter what B0z0 says. In fact most of the small ones were closed, even in the big mall. What was nice though, was that it was very easy to park on road in the centre of town, and I got all of what I needed to do, done. There were masses of beggars though. Properly coming up to you and spinning a tale. Considering I was only there for such a short while, I was accosted 3 time. The lack of footfall must be hard on them.So today I am grateful for DH and kids making scones for my return, so we could have an afternoon tea. For knowing what I will use my vouchers for tomorrow. For not getting rained on! For being able to give blood.

Morning, its been a quiet few days work wise, but this should pick up today and tomorrow. I continue to work on doing 3 things before I leave a room, making slow progress but still progress none the less. I wish DD would do the same to her room, you need a Hazmat suit to enter. It doesn’t help that she has a tiny room so it makes everything look worse.
On to gratitudes:- That I have access to technology that is helping me keep on top of my finances
- For small bits of progress in tidying the house
- The benefits that come from WFH

Sorry, missed yesterday. Don't know what I was doing. Got distracted just as I was going to post.
NSD No 13 and hopefully another today.
Beautiful day here. It's the smallest blonde bombshell's birthday. Six today. Her new bike is hiding in our living room at the moment. Think her Mum is trying to organise a socially distanced BBQ. At any rate she's disappeared to Tesco for food and disposable plates etc and has asked if she can borrow my many small fold down tables. If anybody can manage to find a way of doing it she will.
Be back later.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
