Lol, you can't drive fast on that M60!

The time was a guess - I never go to the Trafford Centre, just drive past it sometimes.

    M60 - a car park usually ehh :D

  • Lovely tree Hypno :) I haven't got one here because [strike]I'm a miserable old scrooge[/strike] it's only me here and I don't really see the point. :o Will probably get the job of putting up the one at my parents' when I go there on Christmas Eve though!

Hello Mooloo, I've just 'met' you for the first time and take my hat off to you - you sound like a brilliant mum and having two babies around must be like having twins all over again.

6 people in a 2-bed flat does sound crowded, perhaps you could find a sympathetic councillor to explain yours and your daughters' situation to the housing people. And as your daughters need some extra support, are there others that could come in, so that you don't need to be with them permanently?

Hypno, your tree is lovely. I was pressured into putting ours up yesterday (I wanted to leave it til school broke up) and it is very much the homemade nicknacks variety and not at all stylish.

Better disappear and clear up the mess in the sittingroom/my bedroom, baby stuff everywhere. Girls disappeared into bedroom so hope babies are going down for the night, (well couple of hours anyway). Hope to join you all again soon, reading this has helped me considerably.

I am always a bit jealous of people with 'homemade nicknacks' trees, I think they look fab, and definitely in keeping with the spirit of Xmas. I did ask Ryan if he wanted to make any Xmas decorations with me, and he embarked on a lengthy plan to use daleks as baubles and put a cyberman on the top of the tree. (I personally quite like this idea :))

Mooloo, I am visiting Oxford after Christmas and would love to meet up if you fancy a cuppa with another DFW. I'm a mother of twins myself, mine are 13 now and I am quite nostalgic about the baby days so would love to give a hand with the babies if that would be useful. Send me a PM if you fancy meeting up - no offence if not!

Sorry for the thread hijack hypno - sweet dreams

Snaggles - Daleks sound lovely for a Christmas tree! Make sure to post a picture if he makes them.
