I would do that too Snaggles if I look too closely at our tree :p

Although in my own way, I am a bit obsessive too, and I move baubles around incessantly until it looks 'right'. Even then, I spend half of Xmas looking at it and thinking 'that one should be slightly to the left', and mountaineering over furniture to try and put it right! :o

    This is me :o

  • Tree looks lovely Hypno. I havent even got mine down from the loft yet. Every year I swear I will be really organised and every year I get the shock of my life cos we're down to the last week lol. My tree is of the exploding variety as well but thats the way I like it. I can admire everyone else's trees and I can totally understand why people want their trees all matchy matchy but it would just mean I would need to do it myself whereas I just get the stuff down and build the tree up and let the kids get on with it.
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

My tree never made it up to the loft this year - does that make me more organised or less  :rotfl:

    Hiya
Your tree is lovely. We did our conservatory tree today and it looks lovely. Want to redo the one in the dining room though as DD did it on her own and it's not even standing up straight. Thought of you today when DD was invited to a party as the chill factor near the Trafford Centre. It's from a girl in her class who ups the anti every year...I dread to think what this will cost and DD doesn't even want to go. It's probably not a good idea anyway in case she really likes it...don't think I could be as enterprising as you when it comes to paying for it xx

    More organised, obviously!

LJD, my two are hoping to race at Chill Factore next year........I think they have another thing coming, personally - it is a long way to go from here - probably easier for us to get to the Alps!!!

Well, now where do I start, Yep its hectic here, I moved here with my 14 year old son in May, nice 2 bed flat. I was happy bunny ish, restarting my life after going bankrupt. Reasonable job working in Charity shop as a manager. Then twin 1 said she was pregnant and could she come home, so she moved in in June/July, baby was born October. Twin 2 then 6 weeks later had said she was pregnant, but unfortunately the boyfriend and related problems with her learning difficulties meant that Social Services were called, and they decided that she had to come home when the baby was born, or go into a mother and baby unit out of county? She came home. So now we have both twins and both babies in one room (my old/new room) and I am in the sitting room. Beds in one corner with the wardrobe, and then the rest of the usual stuff is in here too.!! No space to swing a cat. The council have said that they will not rehouse us, unless extenuating circumstances, and Social are saying its indefinate unless the father can be phsycologically tested ( dont think I spelt that right). Anyway he is agressive, moody, and not the person I wanted for my daughter as she is vunerable. So here I am, I have had to give up my job, let them move in, and supervise the access, go where they go, and loose me along the way.
but when it came down to it, I couldnt see them go off into mother and baby homes, or foster care. After all they are my kids, well they are 19 now.
Sorry gone on a bit long.:D
