The kitchen is a whole lot better than it was, plus I have paid a mouldy old bill that was well overdue. As it had got to the "avoid opening envelopes and answering the phone" stage, I have included it in my debt repayments, so now that it is finally paid, I can breathe a sigh of relief.
DS is now awake and rather put out that we are in housework mode......DD is making "steady" progress.........or should that be "slow" progress  But at least progress is being made.
I have promised that the tree can go up this evening if the housework is done, otherwise it will have to wait until next weekend!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Afternoon Hypno! I must remember to come onto your thread everyday - yesterday you shamed me into getting on with the Christmas cards and wrapping (all finished now) and today you've made me feel sufficiently guilty about sitting about surrounded by mess and do some tidying up!
Hope you get them all organised and your tree up in a nice shiny house

Good things are happening in the Hypno household again, I see - and spreading to others, v nice. I was going to join in the housework challenge on Sunday afternoon
but, um, I'm not now! Bought, wrapped and gave my main friends' pressies yesterday, have done a total of 4 Christmas cards, have got the deccies and the tree out of the garage. And there the list stops. I had my birthday meal last night, and one thing I knew I was getting was the DVD of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. So guess what I'm going to do now? Thats right, join in the housework challenge after alll..... :rotfl: dream on! I'm closing down and setting up the DVD software! Hope you have a good rest of the day, hypno. :grouphug: dodgy hug to all out there.

The tree is finally up - I am a bit of a perfectionist as far as my tree goes - so every time the Children put something on, I quickly moved it :xmassmile
We are all happy with the results, though, and now we can sit with a bit of Christmas Cheer, watching the Liverpool Nativity on the TV and feel as though we have allowed Christmas into the house!:xmastree:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Normally I would put the second one up in the Conservatory, but I am not sure it is likely to get that tidy this yearSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
