Thank you for invite lol ! I think a good 15 minute fling boogie would be good, at least strip the rubbish away. I just seem to have piles of school letters/reminders, raffle tickets and general paperwork lying around in hotspots. So I've decided to invite my Mum round for Sunday Roast this evening, always an incentive to declutter...

Morning everyone. I did my cards - only sent 17 which seems a bit mean but honestly, what's the point in most cases?

I did even worse than you as I spent £18 on cards! (the children need to send them to everyone in their classes and beyond). And then found the ones I'd bought last year and been too disorganised to send. So I have a HUGE pile left if anyone is nearby and wants them.

Hypno that's amazing on Quidco, I have only made about £100, how do you do it?

Seax, put them somewhere safe (!) and you will have no need to buy any next year!
Re Quidco, I did my car insurance through them and got something like £130 just for that. Also did as many of the bookies as I could through quidco for the matched betting so that helped as well. Apart from that, it was only stuff from the quidco thread - it all adds up!

Back from the ski club - boy it was cold!!! Need to thaw out before I can even think about doing some work! Quite tempted to go and hide under the duvet :o

Well, DS is in bed - so tired that the only option was a nap - something he hasn't done for about 10 years!!

DD is just making me a coffee - then we are starting our blitz at 2. We will do half hour on half hour off until 5 ish. Then I will do dinner (roast beef - found a joint in the freezer :D ) and hopefully we can start to put up the tree after dinner.

also need to make sure the children are ready for school tomorrow - homework, uniform, lunches, - you know the score!!

OK I'm up for the 2pm start too.
DS is joining in too-he just doesn't know it yet !! :D
He gets a bin bag and instructions to fill it with carp from the evil pit (aka his bedroom).
I'm starting with the washing up and clothes piles that are covering the diningroom table..

The student is here until the 20th, when she goes home. She has been fairly homesick these last couple of weeks so is really in need of that trip home. It is lot to ask from a youngster to be away from home for that long I think, especially with the language issues etc etc. She is lovely and a joy to have around. She is working hard - gets a lot of homework to do and is almost the model student! She's lovely.

5 mins to housework time.........DD is starting the lounge, I will do the kitchen....will be back on here at 2.30.....not a minute before!!
