I don't offend all that easily. Just don't say I look like:- John Prescott

Not been very money saving here, Been spending on the internet. All sale stuff of course, but still money that will have to be from my grocery challenge too. Did book a night at a travel lodge in my old home town for my birthday. at £9 of course. Can maybe see my parents and my daughter if they are at home then. Something to look forward to. Now I just need to get Social to organise someone to help with the twins?? Ordered 2 christmas hampers, wicker baskets and contents via another thread, hopefully via this quidco lark, at £37.50 for two, £100 original prices. Got a few birthdays coming up so the booze will be good for them.!! The food, we can have throught the year and it leaves me with baskets to make my own presents next year. Hope thats MSE
Remember the days of sewing on name tapes, when I was at school as well as when the kids were. !! Not my favourite sewing job. Much prefer making wedding dresses!! Ah well those were the days. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Been up since 4.30am - DH & DS have got as far as Bath on way to Swansea !!
DS is quite apprehensive at what his room is going to be like. Anyway I;'ll stop hogging your diary as I thought I'd be brave enough to start my own:rotfl: .

Surfbabe, I hope they have a good journey, and the sight that greets them is not too soul destroying.
I had another pants nights sleep - all due to not having done my essay. So for definite, absolutely certainly 100% I will make a start on it today.
Although I also have 101 other things to do, check and double check before the children set off. The car goes back in today for round 4 of trying to fix it!

Hi hypno - your little green light is back on! Sorry your sleep was bad - y'know, even half an hour at the planning stage can really make it easier with the essay, at least you know - its like opening the envelopes when you've got debts, if you know, your mind is set at ease. I really hope it goes well today anyway, especially the car getting fixed.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Nightmare in the hypno household.......OH has lost his passport
I have booked, sorted, packed, arranged payment, etc etc etc, and so, apart from the small matter of actually driving them down to France, he just needs to get his passport out.........and it is not there. He can't think what he has done with it, and so instead of me starting my essay today, I am going to have to hunt for it, otherwise he can't take them.
So, another day when my essay doesn't get done. I am utterly deflated now, and cannot think what he has done with it. Needless to say his only answer is "it was in the cupboard".....to which my response is "well it may have BEEN in the cupboard, but it's not in there now"......:mad:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
