Feeling really disheartened today. Just want to go and buy myself nice
things. Feel fat and awful too. Hate feeling like this. Mostly hormonal. TMI but my periods are so bad I literally can’t exercise and struggle to be far from a loo 😢 it’s getting worse too.

Just need some sleep. At work now after dropping may off at dancing won’t be home until 4. Had enough today. OH is going away for 6 days next month and every month thereafter for work. We’re barley spending any time together as it is and that’s only going to take us further apart. So not happy generally.
Just want to curl up under the duvet.

☹️ sorry you aren’t feeling well. You need to hide out and do as little as possible today, preferably with chocolate and a book 📖
Is the 6 days away helpful for the finances? Maybe the time away will help you both connect more when he’s back. It may improve things, you never know.
I hope you feel better soon.

@missymoo81 it might be worth having a word with your GP if your periods are getting worse.  Look after yourself while you're not feeling well.

  • I've started taking a multitude of vitamins and I'm finding that I am feeling much better than I was. Sleeping better, less emotional.
You sound like you need a good friend to chat things over with. Do you have anybody you can talk to? Sending a hug x

Aw, have a hug Missy ((((()))))))  Does sound like it's worth getting things checked out if it's affecting you that much. I was on iron tablets for a while and was amazed at how much better and less tired I felt. Rest up today xx

Sorry you're feeling so rubbish. I agree with a visit to the doctors. As we are always told it 'isn't blood' I never connected the 2 when being completely exhausted. After going to the doctors a couple of years ago to sort out the constant, nonstop periods, the first thing the doctor did was check my iron levels. They were really low and I had a couple of months of iron tablets.

Is there any way you could sort a day off together, possibly in the week after he's been away, that you could just spend the day together,  a long walk, day on the beach, even just refuse to get out of bed for the day 🤣 and forget everything else for the day. Just to give you something to look forward to each month after he gets back.

Hope today goes quickly for you.

Please go to the GP. The contraception I use has stopped my periods altogether, it is lovely as they used to be really heavy.

Hey everyone, I’m so sorry for my earlier negative post. I still feel rather rubbish, but at least I am at home now. Day got worse in the sense lots of rumours and gossiping going on with members and OH got very cross and irate about it. So have spent a couple of hours dealing with that 🙄🙄. Cross because I couldn’t workout today. Well I could have done but I wasn’t feeling it. But now I’m grumpy I didn’t do it 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. See, I’m in a horrible mood.

All so much for your concern and kind words I’m so sorry I moan so much. It’s more this is my only outlet. I do have a couple of friends to chat to but they’re quite busy and I don’t like to super bother them. As far as my monthlys go I will have to speak to the dr. I’m not on any contraceptive as unlike every other person in the world it doesn’t help, as I can only take certain ones because of migraines, and they just made it constant for 3 months. I do struggle with my iron levels and I have been really rubbish at taking my vitamins, just rubbish at looking after myself generally.

I realised I wasn’t eating enough fruits or veg a couple of weeks ago then was good for 2 days then that was it...... going to sit myself down, Probably tonight, and have a good think and write myself A timetable so I can sort things out more. I’m spending more time at home but not achieving much as I’m so tired but annoyed with myself and putting on weight, as I’m spending less time at the gym. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can’t win.

Better to moan than keep it all bottled up and if you don't have anyone in real life (that can give you a hug and a smile) then we can be the next best thing. I don't have Friends and I very rarely see family so my diary is constant moaning 🤣😂.
DD1 can only take certain pills due to migraines too, she's already tried 2 of the 3 they told her and had awful side affects with both. Apparently she's not taking anymore 😱.

I've been trying to lose weight and yesterday decided to check the calories in my food, I've never bothered before, 2 slices of toast and a tin of beans was about 450 calories! I put it back and had a tin of veg soup. I definitely don't eat enough fresh fruit and veg though.

Right DH wants takeaway (that's why I can't lose weight!) So better go and order it. Hope you have a better evening x

I get migraines and I also had endometriosis so the pill was a neccessity or I'd have been crippled every month (all done with now thank goodness). Have you tried the mini pill? If not it may be worth a chat with your doctor because it worked for me. I also had something called Provera at one point which stopped my periods but isn't licensed as a contraceptive so lots of different ways of making you more comfortable to be discussed with the GP. I'm not giving medical advice by the way as these medications can only be doctor prescribed, just demonstrating that there are a few possible ways of dealing with a painful problem.
