Eating enough fruit and veg is HARD. Not many people can keep it up day in, day out. I’ve just had a Magnum (cookies & cream is veg, right?). I know I rarely make the right number, so have multivitamins as a daily top up. Hey @charlies_tribe I really do need to get over to your diary. I know what you mean about calories in food! I’ve switched from thick seeded bread, to medium sliced and lighter spread as it’s saved me so many calories. Tinned Tomatoes on toast are good too as very low in Cals.I struggle as I can eat an epic amount when I exercise loads, but because my exercise is few and far between At the moment, Im putting weight on, my head doesn’t seem to have got the memo that I don’t need to eat as much. I have a nutrition coach from ages ago when I thought I had money. So I have asked her what to do. Will come up with a better plan of how to fit life in over the next month whilst I have children full time too.
@CRANKY40 thanks so much for posting. I’ve tried most pills but none have managed to stop my periods. I will def endeavour to speak to the dr though. It’s effecting my job now. My uniform is super tight leggings and a short t-shirt, and I have to demonstrate movements. Which yesterday brought tears to my eyes my stomach was so sore. I hate being one of those females that complains about these things. But it’s making me really unhappy 😢.
not going to lose much weight today though as OH has decided we need some time together and has booked us a table at a pub. So we’ll go shortly.
Thanks again you lovely lot for listening x2 -
Delurking to say definitely get your periods checked out. I put up with mine for years, changing pills constantly until my GP finally decided to get my properly investigated. Treatment took several years to sort things out, and will be a lifetime thing (with biopsies every three years) but it has revolutionised my life.2

@missymoo81 I know things are sh**e atm but your OH was spot on with you both spending a bit of time together. The pub tonight sounds nice, don't worry about the diet today, come back to it when your in a bit better headspace.

Don't worry Missy, there's not much on there. I'm only just back after about a month of not posting.
I'll definitely be trying to keep an eye on the calories a but more, I only looked after doing a 5000 step workout last night and my watch said I'd burnt about 300 calories and I wondered which biscuit I'd managed to burn.

Hi @missymoo81, just popping in to say hope you enjoyed your evening and that you're feeling a bit better today.2

Hi,
Feeling a little better today. I've done 2 loads of washing and hung them out and I've cancelled my car insurance, rather than let it tick over at nearly £1000, which is what i did last year! I need to sort that out today or tomorrow, as it runs out today....... Haven't had breakfast yet, usually I've had 2 by now!! Have had 2 coffees and a cup of tea though.....
Need to tidy up and clean things and were going to maybe go out on the motorbike to the beach, which will be nice.

Are you absolutely sure your headaches are migraine & not low iron headaches as they can be fairly similar. Low iron, heavy periods & low iron headaches = vicious circle. The lower your iron the heavier your periods & the lower your iron goes. Please do talk to your GP asap. Otherwise you will have to wait for the menopause to sort it & that is not a viable answer.

Wow thanks badmemory. I didn’t know that. I will try very much to get an appointment over the next few weeks. It’s hard to get appointments at the moment. So a new day. A new calorie amount to work towards. My first PT client has cancelled so I’m £10 down but I’m sat happily on the sofa drinking tea with the cat on my lap.2

@missymoo81 just call the GP surgery and ask for a telephone appointment. You'll need a blood test to check your iron levels before the GP will give you anything to take. If you really can't get an appointment get some ferrous sulphate tablets (iron tablets) from the chemists. If you are anaemic then they will help - and it's probably what the doctor will give you anyway.
The tiredness you've constantly got really sounds like anaemia.4
