It really does doesn't it?  Have a look under your bottom eyelid.  If that is pale I don't think there is much doubt, although not conclusive.

At our GP surgery where possibly they would like you to fill in an online form and they get back to you, this has provided a much quicker service and everyone who I know who has used it has been contacted with 3 working days, often for a telephone consultation or referral for tests. We are hoping they continue with it in the future and don't withdraw it.

Thank you both so much. I’ve got some strong iron tablets which I have actually taken today!

Have been to the gym and done the most horrendous workout ever! Was awful at it. OH is in an awful mood. He’s not done some work, which needed to be done today. He was supposed to ask a specialist to do it but only asked them yesterday but they’re obv off today!!! So he’s very grumpy about it. And is now spending our Monday afternoon having to do it. I’m trying not to be cross but he should have done it a month ago. He’s obviously been busy with the business, but still. He came to the gym with me and did super badly at it too. I actually am wondering, (and I know this sounds rather far fetched) if we have lung damage from possibly having Covid. I’m really struggling with breathing whilst exercising. But then I don’t even know if I’ve had it but have been poorly on and off for ages. But then I have done several tests recently but they’re all negative. I’m not sure if it’s me being unfit, but I can’t see how?!

So anyway, food today, I’ve had a banana as a snack first thing, a porridge pot with protein and peaches, lunch has been a cheese toastie with crisps and a chocolate digestive bar.

Have been watching Superstore. I really like it!

I really enjoyed Superstore...there’s not much to it, but it draws you in. I was sad when I binged through it all.
It’s not far fetched, even if it wasn’t COVID, but some other flu or infection, illness can knock you out for a long time. I’d like to say that was my reason for not being able to exercise, but I haven’t been any good at it since about 1990, so it’s more likely chocolate, crisps and a lack of drive that stops me 😬

Hope you are feeling better soon.  I agree, speak to your GP about your periods.

I've been watching Superstore too, it's really good.  I also love Parks and Recreation for similar reasons.

If you are anaemic that would be enough to make you struggle for breath - if you're anaemic then your body doesn't get enough oxygen rich blood so shortness of breath is another symptom. Have a google.

Thank you so much! I’m on day 4 of my iron tablets. Hopefully after another week I’ll feel better, I really appreciate it as without your kind advice I would have not made the connection and started to take them again!

Iron tablets can take some time to work, although definitely still worth it.  Have you had a blood test?  If it is bad enough they can/may give a jab
