Thanks @WinterWarrior I appreciate your words Of support. OH is home and in a better mood which is good. He’s having a nap after being up so early. I’m had a cuddle then jumped up and realised it was raining so dashed outside and I think I have managed to get the washing in before it got wet.Trying to focus on the house sale as a positive. Just need to get the mortgage sorted, that’s the biggest and most worrying hurdle. Am going to fill in all paperwork tomorrow and speak to the broker and get things moving! I also absolutely must look at both insurances! When I had a quick look on go compare. The car insurance was half the price!
The weather really has turned awful. I might just chill, fold the washing and get ready for work. Need to leave in half an hour.5 -
In a few months time you will have the house, it will all be worth it.
I didn’t check my car insurance for about 10 years 😖, when I checked last year I got it for half price and got £50 cash back! It was such a difference I paid in one go, for the first time in a long, long time. I learnt the hard way how much it pays to check. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning. My DH is the same, even when his back goes and he can hardly walk he still won't go to the doctors.
Glad the accountant has sorted the accounts and you can start moving forwards with the house.
I need to look at DH car insurance today, it runs out on the 10th and I haven't had a look what the renewal is yet.
Hope you have a quiet day.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

thanks @WinterWarrior and @charlies_tribe Good afternoon! I hope everyone is ok? Sorry I didn't post anymore yesterday. It was a good evening coaching wise but OMG I was dead on my feet by the time I got home. OH cooked omelette and I vegged on the sofa, well until small cat decided it wanted to eat the plant thats on the shelf in the ensuite, and knocked it down, breaking the pot and the plant!!!! So we were cleaning up that at 1130 at night!!
Wasn't up stupid early this morning, wake up around 8. OH went to have his medical and I went and had a top up of my nails. I was going to cancel as it is an unnecessary expense, but would have been charged a cancellation fee. So I had them done, they do look lovely and I'll make this the last time. Hopefully they will grow enough to look pretty on their own. I have a hair appointment booked for mid May, but I think I'm going to cancel it as it's going to be around £120. I need to see if I can dye it a similar colour, as in lockdown whenever I dyed it, I dyed it too dark, but the lighter shade was too light. So I'm thinking of maybe mixing the two. I have a mass of curly hair which is just past my shoulders since OH cut it in lockdown, it doesn't look great, but I think it is because there is a random clump at the side which isn't cut right, so I may see if I can rectify......
OH has gone to work and I need to leave to pick up May in half an hour. Roo is on a school trip which is vaguely annoying as I need to go back and pick him up around 5.30. So I'm not sure whether to go home or not in between. As I also need to go to Lidl and pop into work. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy some meat, all of my ideas for meals were good, but the more I think about them, the more I don't think OH and the children will eat them..... Will see what I can do to change them as have lots of ingredients in the fridge at the moment.
Just spoke to the Mortgage broker and I am so worried as to whether we will get a mortgage. It doesn't sound horrendously hopeful, but we won't know until Tuesday/Wednesday.... I have a PT tonight, and need to sit down after that and see what I can do after that to work out money etc.
Oh on good news, won another £50 on premium bonds this month!!! wooo hooo!!! I'm going to put it to one side for May's birthday presents. I'm also going to put aside the money for the clothes when I finally send them back! Will prob need another £100 on top of that, so need to sell some things I think!! I've been super inspired by @WelshKitty85 diary when buying new things, trying to offset them with selling stuff!
Have a horrendous day tomorrow, working pretty much ALL day!!! Have a 0615, 0715 then classes from 1600, 1645, 1730,1830,1930 and 2030, then an hours cleaning then home to collapse!!!!

I was having the hair colour problem, always too dark or somehow gingery! I finally let it go and realised I’m more worried about ending up like one of those older ladies with white, white faces and jet black hair than I am releasing my natural colour. I’ve been growing it out for over a year and it’s slow going, but I’m actually quite enjoying the silver stripes as they come through. I have long hair, so will have to ignore the grow out stripe where it joins the old colour for a few years yet. I was glad to stop the mess of home dye and the disappointment and cost of hairdressers. I’ve been cutting my own for years following you tube tutorials, it’s easier to get away with it with longer styles 😁 There are some great groups on Instagram and Facebook for natural silver inspiration and cheer leading. I realise it’s not for everybody though, but I’ve found it freeing. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Ooh, another premium bonds winner, well done!
Can you have a cheaper hair cut and then you might feel better about doing the dye yourself? Mind you I'm not one to advise, barely ever get a hair cut and mine is down near my bum 😂2 -
Glad I've inspired you @missymoo81. Whilst I often post about try to be cost neutral by selling items to cover new purchases, in reality it rarely happens. I've got mountains of stuff that would easily cover the cost but actually getting round to listing everything for sale is another story!4

Morning and thank you, vey happy with the £50 win. As for hair colouring @WinterWarrior, I have so much grey and my hair is dark brown so it is really noticeable, and I would let it go grey, but I'm 39 and not quite ready to let that happen yet, that and I'm pretty sure I would look very much like a witch if I did! And @Cheery_Daff, so lovely you have such long hair, I wish mine would grow but it just doesn't seem to.
Up early as have a super early PT at 6.15am. Really didn't sleep well and was just awake at 5am. I'm working until 10.30pm tonight and am going to be dead on my feet.
It's an absolutely beautiful day out there. Need to get some washing done and outside. oh me and May went to lidl last night in the hail storm and spent £56. OH paid! I got pretty much enough for a week, will prob spend around £4 more on a top up of bread and milk and apples.
Haven't really got much else to say. Just SOOOO tired!3 -
🤣 I’m a bit older, but am channeling my inner witch 🧙♀️
