Hope OH cheers up soon.  He didn't have any qualms about going to bed while you were up and about so if you need a nap then have one.

Wet and miserable here, so quiet day today :)

Hey @[Deleted User] thanks for popping by. Oh I really wouldn’t bother reading my whole diary. I can sum it all up for you if you like. Happy, grumpy OH, moan, moneysaving, ooops spend money, set ludicrous challenges, spend money, grumpy OH, whinge Moan, moneysaving, children, buying house and that’s about up to date 😁.

hey Queenie! That sounds like a lovely day! And you’re right. It was quite nice this morning but it’s so cold and windy right now, brrrrr!

Hey JWIl! Really do need to catch up with your diary! Have spent an hour talking to OH but he’s still really despondent and unhappy. I can’t really say much else. I’ve put ALL of the washing away! Which is unheard of. Didn’t realise how many work/workout clothes I have. Need to find room for crap in spare room! It needs rehoming but I’m not sure where! Hand me downs for May and my old military uniform. Loft is full so no idea where to put it all.

I'm sat in said spare room on the tiny sofa bed and the cats are going mad running around. I still need to program for tomorrow but it’s getting increasingly difficult as client is 27 weeks pregnant! And there’s only so much she can do!

Need to actually sort menu for next week. Really missing littlies can’t wait to pick them
up tomorrow, hoping they’ll help me with the veggie recipes.

Ah @Cheery_Daff you always say the right thing. I hope you’re ok, another diary I’ve fallen behind on. I hope the weather isn’t too horrendous oooop north and you’re managing to stay warm xx

Loved your speed update 🤣. It could actually have been half of the diaries on here 😬 We all share a lot of the struggles.
I’m so sorry about the grumpy OH...don’t let that sofa bed go to waste if it continues 😉
I do hope tomorrow is a happy day xx

Ah ha ha! @WinterWarrior @Cheery_Daff That’s great! I just didn’t want anyone to think there was anything worth reading back 90 pages for 😁.

OH’s mood has progressively got worse. Now his eye is playing up, (he had his op last weekend) and now he’s suddenly noticed his moustache is starting to go grey along with his beard so now he looks old apparently too!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh and I tried to make an omelette for dinner but the lack of meat really didn’t appeal to him and we ended up going to the coop in the pouring rain! So not sure how my meat free meals will fare next week 🤷🏻‍♀️. Not holding out much hope! All I’ve done is eat today. Must get back on track tomorrow!

It would drive anyone to the biscuit tin missy, I’m not surprised you’re eating. Unless you also needed chocolate supplies you should perhaps have let him have that rainy trip to the co-op alone!
I hope today is better...if not, may I suggest you point out he has a grey eyebrow hair or a new wrinkle to be helpful, if you can’t beat them, join them 😬

    Morning!

How is everyone? OH is up and out, he was at work at 6! I managed to go back to sleep. Just woke up and I’m drinking a cuppa in bed listening to the archers omnibus. Small pleasures.

I’m going to the gym for 9, do a class, them home for a PT. Then I’m free from 1130, I’m going to tidy the children’s bedroom and playroom. I also need to do some washing and program for 2 sessions tomorrow. I’m picking the children up at 3.30. It’s such a horrendous day outside!

Need to go back through my posts and figure out what’s for dinner from the menu plan. I think I need another cuppa!

Don't think my DH would be too happy with an omelette for dinner - he'll happily eat one for breakfast or lunch but not dinner; although saying that if I make it a nice thick Spanish style omelette with lots of potatoes and veg in it and then serve with HM chips & baked beans then he'd tolerate it.

Have you thought about doing things like stir fry with noodles as you only need a very small amount of meat.  Another trick is to add bacon to dishes for the meat flavour or even just adding a beef or chicken stockpot (or cube - although I think the stockpots are more flavoursome and you can get lots of different flavours.
