Bless you both so much. Hate being all dramatic. But really can’t rant at all in real life. It’s hard, I’m a perfectionist and I’m not as good as I want to be in my sport, the expectation of myself and that of what others expect of me is really high as it is what I teach, and it was really obvious today with all of my failings highlighted.
Nobody knows that I couldn’t do it! But I knew, and it’s just made me feel really awful. It’s mostly because I’m not consistent enough because of being a mum and life etc, most others don’t have anywhere near the life commitments I have. And I try not to constantly compare myself to others but it’s hard when it is in your face, for your job and all over social media. It doesn’t help that OH is amazing at the sport and looks it too. I have to struggle and work really hard to look good and I just feel completely unmotivated and rubbish because of it all. I’m rarely not positive but just feel not myself today. Doesn’t help I have the most horrendous ‘time of the month’ going on. Might just go back to bed for a bit. Thanks so much again I really appreciate both of your kind words. I forget that people read this sometimes! It’s more of a place for me to vent and keep accountable.
Much love x3 -
Aw Bess you Missy, I'm so sorry you've been feeling rough. You've had such a lot to deal with lately, it's not surprising you'l have days when you feel bleurgh. And hormones are rubbish at the best of times!
I will echo what others have said - you are NOT worthless, not at all. You are working and raising a family, your partner has had health issues, your ex isn't pulling his weight - you have a lot to deal with. And yet mostly you are positive and supportive of others, and doing a good job. Hold onto those things to get you through the gloomy times xx1 -
Thanks @Cheery_Daff I really appreciate it.1

I echo what everyone else says. I also bet you are really professional and others don't see you the same way you do!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Absolutely agree with everyone else. You seem to be really professional in your work life. I know it can be really difficult keeping on top of everything but you are trying to do so much - you have a lot going on in your life. Don't beat yourself up, you are doing an amazing job.

@jwil and @joedenise thanks so much for taking the time to write. I really appreciate your comments. I feel a little better, I made myself coach the class this evening, and it’s one of those fake it to you make things where you have to smile and be enthusiastic even if you don’t want to. Which makes you end up feeling better and I helped people which is nice.OH went and got pizza so I don’t need to worry about dinner. And has spent the evening helping the children sort out Mother’s Day which we are having tomorrow. So I am excited about that x2
