Up and at em this morning. The children were up early so I went and made a cuppa and got up with them. Just getting sorted and ready for school.
have made the children’s lunches and they have left over tuna pasta which is all good.1 -
Well done @missymoo81. As you're up early make sure you get something prepped for dinner tonight. Perhaps get something into the slow cooker so you just have to do some potatoes or something to go with it. It's always good to ahead!

ah @joedenise thanks for the nudge. This morning ended up a bit more of a whirlwind than planned than I took myself off to bed as I wasn’t feeling too good. Sat on the sofa with a cuppa now. Will sort something shortly for dinner and put it in the slow cooker as we won’t really eat until 9.30pm.
Chilli most likely. Made porridge pots for breakfast and OH loved it! So very happy with that!Have a busy evening with a class and a zoom call and a program to write. I’ve done most of the program.OH gave me a load of change out of his car from the coffee machine at work, so I’ve added that to my £13.50 and now have £46. Which will pay for my next 2 turns of shopping hopefully. Or 1 shopping and anything else that crops up.Thanks @C@Cheery_Daff weirdly though, I’ve had no surveys today! And the ones I’ve done still haven’t been approved 🙄🙄2 -
Ok got lots to do today. I have a class to teach this morning but have to go with OH to the garage so they can fix one of the cars. Then we’re training, after that we need to get some keys cut. Then home for a short while.
I need to do washing and program, then pick the children up. Have a late session tonight. Also but I’ll put the children to bed first.
I slept off and on last night so not great. In money news, I still haven’t got my approvals from surveys. V annoying.I need to not be grumpy tired today.1 -
Ahh typed a post but lost it. Very annoying!
So did my work this morning and trained. I’ve programmed for tonight and have a class at 7.45. The children are busying themselves with Mother’s Day craft. I’m very excited as to what they’re doing.Need to go and pick the car up from the garage before that though.
Have got some left over chilli and am hoping I can bulk it out enough to feed us all tonight on jackets and in wraps. Beans and sweetcorn at the ready!
I had to make a decision last night. Of speculate to accumulate. I’ve paid someone to help me with my eating and my course which will help me look and feel better but also help me set up my own business in that field. It’s not cheap at all. So I am officially £540 down!!!!! Over the next 3 months I need to make that back. So my hair straighteners sold today so that’s £65 down so that’s back into my account as I asked her to pay online instead of cash. So £475 to go!2 -
Hi @missymoo81, I'm a believer in you have to invest in yourself to go forward so good on you for getting some paid support and advice. Obviously if you were frivolous maybe not but this is different its for work and good for yourself then go for it. I remember you saying recently you and OH were discussing the business going forward and career paths and hitting 40s is one of those landmark times. Although I am now getting settled in my new job - I'm still planning to invest in skills outside of my current career path as I have found jobs limited and there are restrictions in location, hours etc. and I'd rather have more irons in the fire.

Thanks so Much @Queen_of_the_Hive I really appreciate that.Managed to do my class, make the chilli stretch, even let the children make their burritos, I’ve done the washing too and OH made the lunches for tomorrow which is all good.
Just got into bed. Hopefully I can sleep. Have an early session tomorrow, so up at 6!1 -
Hi Missy!
I had a thought about you being busy/needing easy cook stuff. I think you've mentioned a slow cooker before. I know there's advice online about Slow Cooker Dump Bags, where you prep slow cooker meals weeks/months in advance and freeze them. Would that be something you could do when the kids are at school/with there dad/you're not busy for whatever reason to help you out when you are busy? Just an idea!3 -
Having a really rubbish day, all confidence has gone. Feel really horrendous mentally. Completely worthless and awful. 😢1

Oh @missymoo81, so sorry to hear you're feeling like that and having a bad day. From the outside that's not true at all - you're one of the posters I always read because I so admire how much you achieve and how you always keep going and come up with ideas even when circumstances are so hard, it makes me feel I can have a go at things too!
