Mayflower curry powder might be worth a go then. That's fairly low syn. You just mix the powder with water and heat it up to make a curry sauce and then add whatever protein you want to it then serve with some rice (or cauliflower rice if you don't want the carbs!).
Will try and think of other quick sauces.1 -
@joedenise bless you! Thanks so much.1

@dawnybabes do they? Do you know how much it is. Sainsburys it’s £1 but tesco it’s 85p. I wonder if lidl have their own brand? Thanks for that.1

Good morning,
ok so I have work 9-11 from home. Then at some point I need to go shopping. I’m really tired though, no reason for it.
house wise, I need to put the sheets back in the beds, finish putting the clothes away and do another load of washing. I need to program for tomorrow too.
Feeling a bit bleigh. Need to pay the rent etc today.1 -
So I’ve done my classes and been shopping. And done the wash load and hung it up. Just put all of the shopping away and Now having breakfast/lunch. I spent £31.01 at Sainsburys, followed my list apart from grabbing a maggi flavour thing as they were on offer at 75p. I had £30 cash but found £1.05 in my jacket pocket. I’ve not worn it since last year! Fingers crossed we can get the shopping to last all week.I have put tinned peaches in my porridge this morning and it’s nice! Really lovely, I’m not missing the berries so it’s all good! And just asked OH and he said he would eat it. So I’ll make some tomorrow for him too. So that’s money saving, as porridge oats are super cheap. So having peaches instead of fresh berries is going to save me about £6+ a week!3

@Cheery_Daff hey lovely! So great to see you. Thanks for popping over! It’s not until you add these little things up do you realise what a big amount of money they are!I’ve just bitten the bullet and listed my hair straighteners on FB. I last used them about a year ago. I have curly hair. I obv don’t need them. They’re the expensive make ones so hopefully someone will want to buy them!I’m a bit hungry so will have some jammy toast. I’m making tuna pasta for dinner and some banana bread later for the children’s lunches. I begrudge paying £2 for a box of 6 cereal bars!2

There's loads of different packet sauces out there, I use them sometimes: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/shop/food-cupboard/cooking-ingredients/packet-and-pour-over-sauce-mixes They are convenient, not too expensive and don't take up a lot of space in the cupboard, so it's handy to have a few available.
Great savings on the berries!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
@jwil thank you so much! I was looking for that page on my app for ages last night and couldn’t for the life of me find it! I really appreciate it! Going to have a good look through now!1
