Ah just had to fork out £40 for the children’s school trips! Wonder if I can make that back via eBaying... hmmm will have a look at what I’ve got to sell.

Gosh that's annoying Missy! Hope you can make it back. So glad you had a nice cup of tea in bed and a nice time with friends  Those little experiences seem to top us up a bit when we're running low, don't they?

Hey @Cheery_Daff yes they do and sometimes they are very much needed!

So today I got up really late after not really sleeping again. I’ve been super grumpy and stressed and feel a bit sicky today . Business reopens in a week and we have so much to do. We are a member of staff down and need to retrain someone, so have about a month where we are going to have to work a lot of shifts, for no extra pay, and in the middle of all of this OH is having more eye surgery. Don’t know where me and OH are going to find the time to see eachother and things between us seem a bit fractious and disconnected as they are, not sure why. I’m not sure if it’s me or him or both 😔

I’ve eaten my weight in food this past week and barely trained so feel massive and horrid about myself. And know that I’m the coming months I really won’t get any time to train as work will be too busy. 😟

Ahh don’t mean to be a moaning Minnie, I will sit down tonight and see if I can come up with a plan.

ok in other news. Have literally just sent the landlord a message to see if we can buy this house, then we can move forward from there. Fingers crossed and positive thoughts he doesn’t hike the price up! And he says yes. And that we can get a mortgage. Oh and in other financial news.  I’m nearly at £10 on surveys, just going to leave it in there and let it build up until Mays birthday, and hope that helps.

Speaking of the children, this is the first Easter I haven’t had them as they’re at their dads. I actually feel heartbroken. I managed to text them yesterday which was nice. I have all their things for an Easter egg hunt, I just wish they were here 😢

Anyway.......for the rest of the day I need to get on with the list I wrote a few days ago. I need to clear the mountains of clean washing and put them away. Tidy the children’s bedroom and play room and sort my room of doom out!

Also need to have a look at the bank as pretty sure I can’t pay the rent this month without moving things around 🤦🏻‍♀️.

OH is outside cutting the grass whilst I sort inside.

Big hugs to those that need them.

Hopefully once the business is open again, you and OH will settle down a bit.  It's been so stressful the last few months.

Hope you get good news from the landlord!

    Ok so far.....
I have sorted the washing, but I still need to put it away. I’m half way through tidying the children’s bedroom. I’ve hung up the wet washing and put the blankets in to wash.

Not sure what we’re doing for dinner..... also not sure what to do about my session tomorrow, it’s only a £10 one and it’s the only thing I have to do tomorrow morning so there’s a big part of me that wants to cancel as it’s bank holiday and I could spend that time relaxing or tidying..... but I’d lose the £10...... not sure.

Actually, decided..... really fancy spaghetti bolognese.
And friend has cancelled session anyway so I didn’t need to make the decision!

Havent heard back from the landlord. Now panicking as we haven’t even applied for a mortgage yet. On the Barclays calculator we can afford one, but with Covid etc who knows what the bank will say.

have been up to make tea much earlier. there was sideways snow this morning!
I’m back in bed and have been laid on by cats whilst OH sleeps beside me. Would very much like to get my breakfast and another cuppa but don’t want to disturb everyone!

Argh landlord has come back with a message saying they’re trying to figure out they’re financial plans, and We need to have a meeting. It didn’t sound overly positive. Feel a bit sick about it all to be honest. What if he says no. I really don’t want to miss the stamp duty holiday or pay another 6 months rent, as that all amounts to  a whopping £12.5k. I also don’t want to be chucked out of the house either. Feeling very stressed!!!!!!

Deep breaths Missy... It'll either happen or it won't - you've done all you can for now. I know that's easier said than done! Hope you managed to get a bit of rest. Do you have plans for a different house if this one doesn't happen?
