Thanks @Baileys_Babe. Good thinking, I have to tread very carefully when it comes to OH as he’s diet is tricky and he is on board with most thing but I need to use a gentle approach. I will get him to get milk and eggs. Hopefully we’ll sell a couple of things at work and could use that.2

Had a lovely dinner at my dads, was so nice to be there. Didn’t stay as long as I wanted as OH was tired. Had my 2nd vaccine. Arm is a bit sore but that’s all.Am up early for work. Have a zoom session. OH has gone off to work with my laptop so a bit grumpy about that as I’ve got to do my zoom session on my phone!
so hungry already. Need to figure out what to do with the children today too, weather is so annoyingly changeable I don’t know what to do with them that won’t cost the earth!1 -
Have you tried geocashing Missy? Haven't done it myself but going to do it one day in the hols. Free local activity - just need to download the app. We go out on our bikes too for cheap entertainment. Need bikes to do this though

When my step kids were little, garden centres with fish were my friend…they would love looking at all the fish, it was usually undercover and generally cost nothing more than a small bag of sweets each or a small cactus or something 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Hey @Queen_of_the_Hive I’ve downloaded the app. But there are only 4 in our village. And thanks @WinterWarrior I did think of that, there is a good one with animals etc about 40 mins away. Didn’t do much today, BIL took children out for Walk with their dog and I trained, but since then I have felt awful. Had my second vaccine yesterday and it’s obv having an effect. OH took the children to the park after work and I’ve just about managed to make them their meals and out them to bed. I can’t explain how I feel, just not great. A wee bit sicky and tired and just not right. A NSD though.I’m working tomorrow from 2-5.30 so hoping I’m better by then. Need to find more fun things to do with the children for the rest of the week. Weather is so changeable though.2

Hey, thanks so much @jwil I felt much better yesterday. We spent the day at the beach. I remember saying how sick I felt when I bought the body boards and wetsuits last week because they came to £60…..but they spent all day in the water and can’t wait to go back, so I think it was def a good buy and I feel vaguely better about it. So yesterday was a NSD, as we took a picnic. Today is a day ofchores, I have to take the cats to the vets then work for an hour then home and lunch. Then take the children to the park, then we’ve got the dentist, then I’ve got an hours work after dinner. So should be another NSD. OH has an exam today for his course and he’s not had very much sleep. I feel so worried for him. He gets himself all uptight and worried. Fingers crossed!
not looking forward to tomorrow, I have a really, really long day. And another on Saturday 😢.
Ended up using all of the chicken last night so not sure how the meal plan is going to turn out 🤦🏻♀️. More work needed!2 -
Yesterday was not a no spend day, I forgot I had to pay for the dentist. It was only £28 and we all had no problems, which is absolutely unheard of for me! I’m usually at least a filing each time I go. But I have been wearing my mouth guard when I sleep which I think helps. Also I went out and got me and OH a couple of beers £4.20. To celebrate him finally passing his exam. It was 2 hours long and even with no sleep he passed the practical which he’s super pleased with.Really didn’t want to work last night or this morning but I managed to do both. Working this evening from 2-5.30, which is ok.
last night OH went and got some eggs so we had omelettes, I'm either going to do jackets or carbonara tonight. Hmmm carbonara would be similar to
omelettes. Maybe teriyaki salmon….OH is doing driving work today and I’m dropping Roo off at a party, weather is rubbish and have lots of wet washing.Gosh it feels like lunch time already as I’ve been up since 6. Trying to get money sorted. Need to send invoice still. Post stuff on FB and count up sessions to see if I’m owed any.Right hang washing and do the above first. Will be back to check in shortly.2 -
Feeling totally miserable again. I wonder if there’s a pattern to how I feel?I know a lot of it is because it’s the holidays, I haven’t been able to go to the gym much but OH has managed. I’ve just realised I do nothing for me it’s all about everyone else, money, time… everything. And it’s really getting me down. Even if I made time and had the money I don’t know what I’d do……I’m so caught up in sorting everything and everyone else out.
I'm well aware I’m turning 40 in less than a month…. And I think that’s got a lot to do with it 😢.1
