Our holiday in Kefalonia was so easy I'm desperate to get away again for some sunshine and warmth. TBH can't believe anywhere is still letting us in, our 7 day rate is poor!

The fat lady has started singing! I started this thread on May 24th and have kept the faith through out that I would be going to Egypt in November. Today EasyJet have cancelled the flights so its game over. Have looked at alternatives such as Cape Verde but have decided to wait till next year. At least I got to do Turkey in March and Spain in July so not all hard done by. I'm off down the off-licence now for a few bottles of wine to toast my good luck, others are not in a position to be able to afford a holiday so I'm not going to grumble too much, to all those that are still trying to get away I wish you all the very best and its lovely to hear where you are planning on going to. Sorry Now I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to go abroad in case we tested positive over 'there'. Glad I didn't think of that before we went to Kefalonia. Even with the cyclone it was fab! Good luck with your search.

I'm just coming to the end of a 2 week lockdown holiday at home. I've had a couple of days out but the weather has been too miserable to do much so I've just taken the opportunity to do a few jobs around the house, have a big declutter and catch up on some Netflix series.
I still have about 5 days of holiday to take before Christmas and have no idea what to do with them. I think I may just uses them to avoid some tiresome meetings at work.

HOPEFULLY off to Greece on sunday as long as Boris does not put it on the list ,three holidays cancelled so far

My final plan of action this year after getting Turkey cancelled for next week after everything else cancelled this year was tests and if clear to book Cyprus instead.
As it was sadly my Son showed covid symptoms the other day so now awaiting results for all the wrong reasons.
Hes ok so far though just lost of taste and smell so that’s the main thing.
Hoping for a better 2021 but not holding my breath.
