Anybody else think that the new tax return was way longer than it was last year?

They seem to ask even more unnecessary questions and it just seemd to take longer though. Quite happy though, managed to manipulate the mileage and printing to reduce the paper profit to a minimum....all within reason too!!!

Glad that task is over....and a lot earlier than last year too!

Just when I had got the hang of the old one they change it all! I wasn't even sure I was in the right form for half the questions.

yes they do - depends on cost but it's irrelevant as you don't have to have one!

You have to pay for each transaction plus anything between £5 and £10 for the basic fee.

Just get a separate personal account and use that for your MSing money - that's what I do, then take money out when I fancy; makes it a lot easier to maintain!

I do that too, it's never been queried.

Harping back to abai............I spoke to them on the telephone this morning explaining how I could never see anything listed in my area. The person I spoke to was really helpful and friendly, and searched under all their clients and confirmed that there really had not been any opportunites in my area since I signed up - so I wasn't doing it wrong when I tried to search. She, also, added another client to my list as I didn't have it.

HTH as I know others had a similar problem :D

I find BAI and GAP's assignment search systems really lenghty, retaileye's althought unreliable is much easier

    Thanks guy, but I meant aba-i not Bai/Bare :p

Though I agree - you wouldn't think it would be hard to set up a search facility that works or to spell locations correctly! ;)

gapbuster... I do not think I will do any jobs for them, it really isn't worth the effort

I have a forum attched to http://mysteryshoppingblog.net but to be honest nobosy has used it. I was thinking of deleting it, unless you can think of a purpose for it.

Do feel free to start using it though - if people start posting there it is no problem at all to leave it going

I have just visited your site, Guy and it is very nice but (unless everyone moved over to it) I probably wouldn't follow more than one forum. At the moment I tend to follow this one.

    Hi, just a quick query....

I signed up for BAI/Bare a couple of days ago, took the '45 mins' test, which I passed....

Have just received a telephone message on my mobile (was changing baby's nappy at the time lol) saying they have a job for me, if I am still interested in working for them.

I thought to get jobs you had to check out the website? Is it usual to get phone calls, especially when you haven't done any previous mystery shopping for the company (or in my case ever) before?

    Thanks

no - its not unusual. Most of the time you get jobs online, but occasionally they have jobs that they desperately need filling (either because someone assigned the job has pulled out OR if they've been waiting to have someone on their books who lives in a particular location to carry it out) - good luck :D

    Thanks Cookinmummy,

As I am very new to this, just wanted to make sure that it wasn't something 'weird'! Not that I'm paranoid or anything lol

Thanks for the compliment! I actually agree with you, the forum was an easy thing to add, but I am not sure if it serves any purpose.

I will leave it on, it may find a use.
