sinders or anyone else that has done a job for Kern - how long does it take for them to process your report?

Quite a while, cookinmomma, I think it was a month before mine had been validated ready to pay so don't fret. Did you pass any tests? I nearly did, twice:beer:! What fun!

    Hi, just a quick query....

I signed up for BAI/Bare a couple of days ago, took the '45 mins' test, which I passed....

Have just received a telephone message on my mobile (was changing baby's nappy at the time lol) saying they have a job for me, if I am still interested in working for them.

I thought to get jobs you had to check out the website? Is it usual to get phone calls, especially when you haven't done any previous mystery shopping for the company (or in my case ever) before?

    Thanks

No, I got my first couple with Bare by phone. I think they also know it's harder to refuse them when you're on the phone. Good luck

hollypear, I need someone to come round and polish my artificial lawn. I'll pay you £2.50 plus half your trainfare from Glasgow to Devon. The questionnaire consists of mainly y/n answers with two comment boxes.............

    hi

got my first assignment through at a fast food place. do you need to individually stop and start a stopwatch and make notes for the different timing points?

seems a bit of a pain, rest seems straight forward.

Timings are a pain for fast food! Personally, I use the lap time feature on my mobile. I stick this in my coat pocket (keep hands in pockets unless required to take them out) and discreetly click the lap button at the timing points. If you feel you need to make notes during the assignment then I'd wait until you sit down and then put digits into a crossword or sodoku in the paper. I bet everyone on here has a different method - just do what feels comfortable.

    HTH :D

never spotted the lap thing on my mobile, makes it easier. i carry a big note pad when out on visits anyway so may take that and some work to do in the restaurant.
