Anybody else think that the new tax return was way longer than it was last year?

They seem to ask even more unnecessary questions and it just seemd to take longer though. Quite happy though, managed to manipulate the mileage and printing to reduce the paper profit to a minimum....all within reason too!!!

Glad that task is over....and a lot earlier than last year too!

I was pleased that I did mine yesterday too!

Seems to take ages doesn't it? It's the first time I've ever done one directly on their site (I usually use specialist software) and it was a little laborious. Funnily they think £0.00 is not zero?!

yes they do - depends on cost but it's irrelevant as you don't have to have one!

You have to pay for each transaction plus anything between £5 and £10 for the basic fee.

Just get a separate personal account and use that for your MSing money - that's what I do, then take money out when I fancy; makes it a lot easier to maintain!

gapbuster... I do not think I will do any jobs for them, it really isn't worth the effort

I have a forum attched to http://mysteryshoppingblog.net but to be honest nobosy has used it. I was thinking of deleting it, unless you can think of a purpose for it.

Do feel free to start using it though - if people start posting there it is no problem at all to leave it going

I don't think I am going to bother with Gap anymore either. I don't like fast food, they don't give a good fee (or most of the time, none) they question things too much and they take too long to reimburse.

Retail eyes is my fave. Also signing up to TNS, need to post off the app today :j Optimum Contact is good too, but they don't have as many assignments.

I still work for GAP but only with minimal effort (i.e. I don't bother taking a note pad/making notes on my phone etc; it's a read the brief, turn up, do the job and be done with it thing) and only do the jobs that are absolutely convenient for me and require me to buy things that I'd buy anyway. That way, if they expect war and peace back from me "Within 24 hours", they can stick the job somewhere of their choosing!

I've a similar attitude to Gap. Unless its a job with a premium or an assignment where I need to go anyway, I don't bother. I am expecting a call later today querying a response I gave over a burger place, because the service was pants. They badger you for saying anything negative and you think PLEASE the burger ones are so silly anyway and unreal its like walking onto the set of Twin Peaks!

hehe, I should make some time tonight to take the burger test and try and get one just to join in the fun - which was the only reason I signed up to gap
