RE - available assignements and search assignments a bit messed up !!
places that are 100s miles away says it 2 miles away from home ?!
The pub jobs i have looked at are "suit male shoppers", why bother putting them on my available jobs, i can hardly change my sex!

I got that on the pub jobs too - am also not a boy! Ditto re jobs that are MILES away coming up in my "area". I actually mentioned that bit on the shopper survey thing I just filled in too. They give you 1 point for filling it in too I discovered.

    The irony!

I must say, filling in that questionnaire was the most fun I've had in ages :D

They'll be whimping like a dog by now I expect!

Just thought I'd say (not meant to sound patronising BTW!) that it's great to see some newbies to this thread - including people who are already mystery shoppers! Good to expand the knowledge base :D

Dosen't sound patronising at all! This thread was invaluable when I first read it months ago, with your tax information being very helpful. Should have piped up earlier, but I am shy!

Timmne they will conclude it is us at fault. They will be having meeting discussing it and saying "Bunch of ungrateful sods"

I also raised the point they have an organisation but we don;t. If that could ever be organised but maybe someday we could organise little meet ups in various major cities and come up with a report to distribute to all the companies.
I also queried why they pay such low rates for jobs which I have done for other companies at a much higher rate.

Well, reading threads in various forums many of us don't hesitate to tell them the truth. I certainly didn't.

If I am unhappy with something I tell them anyway. They knew before that I don't like their fees.

They once asked me to do a visit to a pub chain which I turned down. When they asked me why I told them ... the company who had the contract before them paid me twice as much - plus taxes!!

I wrote this on RE's questionnaire (for what it's worth):

I would like an assignment fee of at least £5 per every assignment. More notice would be helpful. Why are assignments routinely posted just a day or two before they are due? Other sites give much more notice and jobs are thus easier to plan. Please don't ring me and ask me if I intend to do the assignment I accepted in the previous two hours. Likewise, don't ring to see if I've done it yet or tell me I have so many hours left in which to enter a visit date. I would like the assignment notes to more accurately reflect what is required in the questionnaire (or visa versa). For example, if I need to grade a starter and a main course and may grade an optional dessert, it is not helpful if the notes state I may choose either a starter and main OR main and dessert. If I choose the latter option, how can I grade a starter I wasn’t instructed to have? Please proof read all assignment notes and questionnaires for odd, orphaned half-phrases. Apart from that, it's all good!

I'm sure it said that to me, but if you keep writing it disappears! You can the write as much as you want.
Thanks for that, you were right - and the red box turns green - duh! It was a long day..
Smile ! And pass it on..
