I also have done the silver certificate with MSPA. By now they have an European version available which I haven't done (yet?)! The test was ok, not too hard, not too difficult but I have yet to see a change in jobs offered.
Most British companies are not interested in the certificate but at £6.70 for the European test there's not much you can lose, I suppose.0 -
i was rejected for the jeans shop on BAI .... I have a 5 rating and not sure how to improve the rating ...any tips..0

I contacted Nikky at the MSPA (Europe) to see if the US version of the Certification is valid here, or would the European one have to be taken as well.
She's emailed straight back to say they are both accepted by MS Companies throughout the World, it's just that the European one is tailored for this market. By that I'm assuming she means it's just certain points that may be worded differently i.e. mine mentions a 1099 for Tax and the name of an American Department Store, so I think this is where the differences may be.
If anyone out there has done the European Version though they may be able to fill us in! Nikky was very helpful & said to contact her if more info was needed. As you say, it's debatable whether or not it makes any difference, but I'm still made up I passed!

i was rejected for the ***** shop on BAI .... I have a 5 rating and not sure how to improve the rating ...any tips..
Don't worry, I was rejected for one of those too and I have 8 in rating!
I think you just have to continue to apply for lots of jobs, I got my rating up by being accepted for some telephone and email assignments. I haven't been with them for very long though.0 -
Working for BARE is like being a vulture - you have to storm in and apply for as many jobs as you can and wait for them to be allocated. Really nice how they pick and choose who does their shops I think!
My rating's 9 and I have just as much success in getting jobs from them so I wouldn't worry!0 -
Could somebody please confirm when TNS pay? I have read through their FAQs but there is no mention of the pay date. I would have though this question would be asked very frequently! lol!

Hi Sarah
Its the 28th of the month. The 12th, I believe is the cut off for payment at the end of that month, anything after that will be the end of the following month. Hope that makes sense!
They always send out a pay advice by regular mail at the same time with details of what you've been paid.0 -
Sarah
Apologies, I've just checked and the cut off is the 14th or the last working day prior to the 14th. Pay day the 28th.0
