completed a job for RE and the questionnaire was so so so ........long ....and they just paid me £50
-
What did they reply to that Wensie.
Well, what do you think!? :rotfl:
Nothing, absolutely nothing. They just shrugged it off. But I don't care. I keep telling them. Both on the phone and by email.
They dared to tell me recently that I shouldn't go out of my way for a job and should e.g. rather use a local pub than travel for it. Well, 2 miles down the road is pretty local to me. That was after I tried to submit an 80-odd question report which took me 2 hours because of their 'fantastic' changes and the fee was even lower than 5 quid.
I was furious and told them that I won't do pubs for THEM anymore as I don't consider a mediocre meal with poor service to be a treat.
Oh, and I personally don't say anything about them on here that I don't tell them direct. So far they haven't 'sacked' me; I've just been given more work. I just hardly do mystery shops for them now but rather audits.0 -
Just catching up. 1 of my stamp ones was for over 55s (showing for me, even thoI'm younger) and there was no limit on the other two. No purchase either sadly - just checking leaflets and thinking about it, may it isn't exactly the same firm as the one on Gap, as this was for the "firm" who do the savings products and not for UK....... as they were called on Gap.
I did a leaflets one in the stamp shops before and it was for GfK, so maybe this isn't who Gap's work has gone to. Perhaps they've just stopped MS'ing their stores - they have just made a loss, haven't they? So perhaps they think it's time to cut back a bit?0 -
The problem with the fee is that when they lower it the work still goes just as fast, so why shouldn't they. Everyone wants more profit, and if there is still demand they will lower. I don't take on a job if I don't think it is worth my while because I spend at least 30 minutes on a report.
I know we all said in the survey that the pay is low, but they will not do anything unless we stop accepting those jobs.
The rule is if anyone is truley unhappy about something, why still do it?0 -

No I think what they mean is that they're only going to reimburse for one person, giving you the option to take someone else (although I haven't seen the notes so don't quote me!)
Just their way of remaining fair but not having to pay out - well, that's what they would think anyway! :rolleyes:0 -
bit cheesed off with Ms ..with rising fuel charges i seem to be making very little for the numerous companies I work for and ther effort I put in . I did an RE phone job 5 quid payment, I just got my bill and it shows £3 for the call I made , so £2 quid profit for a massive report and a long call . all in all thats under the national minimum wage. what a joke. think my time is up with mystery shopping until they start paying more..0

I have a restaurant visit tonight through RE. The visit times are 7pm - 9pm. Does that mean I have to be out of there for 9pm or that I can enter between those times ?
I am being very money saving as its our wedding anniversary tomorrow and using the ms as our anniversary meal out. Hope its nice !!0 -

Has anyone done any of the Airline jobs?
I quite fancy that, as I have to fly occasionally to accompany my daughter down to the London Aiports, so she can then fly off elswhere, (she represents GB at her sport), but wonder if an endless report afterwards takes all the fun (if any!) out of it!
I know on some you can have a few days away if you pay for it, but does the stress of thinking about the report afterwards mean you don't enjoy it?! The odd free flight for me though would certainly cut down on our Competition costs!!0 -
