With Grassroots if I do a MS assignment for one company is it likely that the same company would offer assignments again? I could see why they might prefer it if it wasn't the same person doing the shop each time.

It depends on the scenario and the shop.

For example you could probably do a quick question and purchase in a big supermarket numerous times without being spotted, due to the number of staff and the number of shoppers they get in every day.

However, you can't do things like mobile phone enquiries, travel agent enquries or bank account opening enquries very often. There are fewer customers, fewer staff and you to spend a long time with a staff member so they are likely to remember you.
Here I go again on my own....

No, that has not been my experience. I have had several - same company but different venues.

    Warning - rant ahead!!!!

BARE are seriously taking the p*ss!!!!!!!!

I am lucky enough to have worked for them in the past, and have quite a high shopper rating, so they gave me some recent telephone work. You had to call a number which would ensure the call was recorded. Fortunately the calls are free.

I have tried 20 times so far, but the process simply doesn't work! I emailed them and eventually called Belgium (using a callsaver of course, but it still cost money). On Friday they told me to try again this week - but the system still isn't working.

In the mean time they had the cheek to send an email saying my report was overdue.

It gets worse - keep reading!

Yesterday another email, sent to all shoppers. 'If Vocazilla is not working, download Skype and Pretty May. You will of course have to buy a receiver, and you'll have to pay for this. But you will be able to use the receiver for other things'.

Big of them, don't you think, to allow us to use a receiver bought with our own money for other things?

If I wanted Skype clogging up my machine I would have downloaded it LONG ago. I have sent them an email explaining this, and telling them I expect to be paid for the time I have spent on the assignments so far.

    I'll keep you informed............:mad::mad::mad:

It seems that you also have to pay for Pretty May too. $25 !!

Of course, you might never need it again after this series of assignments is over. So it sounds like a really good plan to me. NOT !

Hi there, I applied for MS and got accepted, so have been trying to do the homework before you pass the test.

I failed the pizza test by 1 question. there were 30 questions in all  but when I read all the guff about the company, it says I could refer back to it during the test, but I couldnt get back to it, as would lose what I was on.

I read further back on this site that you can open another browser window, can someone tell me how this is done, so I can refer back to any questions I am not sure about.

Also, it says I can have 3 goes in a session, but I still failed after the 3rd try :o , does mean that i can never try again, or when they say the 1 session, I can go in another day?

Sorry this might sound confusing, but I am sooooo confused.

    Many thanks in advance.

I take back what I said about BARE as I decided sod it this morning and applied for 3 phone ones all of which were above my shop score level and I got all three  not that I am complaining. Though I applied for them just before the usual email was sent out, so I am wondering if most jobs are given on a first come first served basis?

this happened to me , i was so excited about doing the test, went ahead a did it, thinking if i failed i could look back at the notes. how wrong was i, failed on third attempt , left it a month, still not able to do test again and 3 months on requested for test to be reset and they said ok at first and then said they are unable to reset tests at this time. maybe someone else can give some more hopeful advice.

This happened to me withthe greasy burger test. I failed it  When I contacted Gap about it, they said they would request it be re-set, but they only do a re-set once every couple of months. So, if they have said they will re-set your test, it will be done, but be prepared to wait!

The way to open extra windows is to simply do whatever you do to open the internet in the first place, all over again. In most versions of windows there is a toolbar at the bottom of the screen showing which windows you have open - if you click on the window you want, you can go back to it.

You can use this to have the notes open at the same time as you are taking the test.

Sadly, my experience shows that they may not let you resit for some time - I waited AGES before they let me do the Post Office test again! :o
