Next time check SAYNOTO0870 before phoning any call centres. 99% of the time you will find an alternative number and if you are subscribed to a service like 18185 you should find the calls cost next to nothing.

It's not possible on RE. They don't tell you the number of the call centre. You dial their 0870 recording number and enter a code and it automatically puts you through to the call centre and records the call for you.

I also agree with the other comments about routing etc.

I did a lot of MS calls for another company who did some random checking. People had to send in copies of their phone bill with the numbers highlighted to prove they did make the calls. If I'd rang another number, it would have shown up there.

I've just accepted my first assignment for OC. Fortunately the shop isn't booked for another week, which is how long it should take me to familiarise myself with the scorecard - it's really long!

Just a tip - OC really like comments. As well as just ticking the yes/no buttons, try and put as much information as you can in the comments boxes.
Here I go again on my own....

Yes I had thought that after reading the briefing details. They gave an example of the scorecard for this client and it had very thorough comments!

I'm glad they had that example there, other evaluations I've done for other companies havent wanted nearly as much detail so I probably would have done this one the same!

Is it just me finding it really hard getting started with BARE? I've applied for loads of jobs and haven't been assigned a single one, which rules me out of others where you need a higher score :(

Me too. I applied for 6 this morning - didn't get any. I've just applied for 4 more so just waiting to see now. It's a viscious circle - you need high scores for good assignments, but they don't give you asiignments in the first place for you to get your score up!

With Grassroots if I do a MS assignment for one company is it likely that the same company would offer assignments again? I could see why they might prefer it if it wasn't the same person doing the shop each time.

I agree. I applied for several email jobs over the last couple of monthsand have been rejected for those. I'd have thought an email job would be a perfect starting point really.

Even once you start working for them, they can be quite annoying, I requested 4 Building Society jobs which would have fitted in well with my daily planners (I never go to a place without having at least 3 jobs to do) and I got turned down for all of them, then within the last 2 days of the campaign date, I got phone calls from Belgium, pleading with me to do the jobs  ok, the fee had gone up considerably, but the places they wanted me to go, just didn't fit in anymore, I managed to accept 2 and told them it was their own fault they were struggling as I would have done all 4 for less money of they had given me the work in the first place.
