I am with HSBC and they do not charge me anything when I get payments from BARE. The worst thing is when you do get paid, it doesn't say BARE on the statement. I think mine said something totally different. I think they pay expenses at the end of that month (about 4 weeks after) and fees at the end of the next month (about 8 weeks after). It takes a while for the payments to come through but they do eventually.0

I've never had a payment from them yet, am waiting, I was told by my bank HSBC that I would be charged as it would be classed as an over seas payment, I did enter my bank details too, so will look out for a charge.......... but am not sure if it will come via pp nowOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

Yay! I've just been accepted for grassroots - how long is it usually before assignments are given? what sort of outlets do they send you to?
Have given up with retaileyes for the time being.
Also, do you have to register as self employed even if you haven't done a MS yet?
Thanks for any help!
Iv signed up to grass roots about 2 months and have had no assignments. They send an e-mail when they have some in your area but i have received no e-mails so far. So doesnt seem like they have much work0 -
My payments from Bare come into my account with no charge and it clearly states Bare.
My bank do always send me a letter to say the money has been received in Euros and what the conversion was.
Question for you - I have a food job to to for Gap a lunchtime buffet. As it is a buffet and you are not being served can you order all meals together? (I am taking hubby and daughter).0 -
I was paid by BAI on Tuesday for jobs I did in January. February jobs will be around this time next month. Mine go into my Bar.clays account and I get a letter. I think I lose out a little on the conversion but only by a bit . If you get paid by Paypal I think you also have to pay a small charge so either way expect a little less than what the fee says.0

I am doing my first assignment on Saturday! Swinging between nerves and excitement at the moment.....
I am taking my husband with me - does anyone know if he also has to have the food and drink that has been specified or can he have something else as long as I have what they have told me to have? Obviously don't want to get it wrong as its my first job!
I have also registered with a company where I am classed as self-employed - I have not done any jobs yet because I am still in 2 minds about doing my own tax. Should I have registered with Inland Revenue or is it ok not to have because I haven't actually earned any money with them yet?
I have really enjoyed reading the messages on this forum - it really gives an insight into what the MSing involves.
Thanks everyone!:heart2: Katie & Benjy - I'll meet you at Rainbow Bridge......:heart2:0 -

I have just tried to register with BAI (Bare) and it asks for a MSPA certification code. I clicked the link and it says to obtain the silver certification you need to pay $15 dollars - does anyone know anything about this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!:heart2: Katie & Benjy - I'll meet you at Rainbow Bridge......:heart2:0
