Yes she was extremely excited to get back to school today. She's got a follow up with the plastic surgeons again at the end of the week ot check everything is still healing well. We made a den in the garden yesterday - rigged a tarp between two trees and had a load of blankets in and she and I had a lovely afternoon.
I'm on with a healthy eating kick as of today- I didn't get to the gym at all in the last 4 weeks (obviously) and given I ate canteen food which was mostly stodge for 12 days I had a massive teenage style outbreak of spots across the last 2 weeks (I reckon also stress induced) but they've cleared up now so I've had soup and fruit for lunch and have drunk a ton of water.
My morning classes have been lovely- I've missed (most of) the kids and they've (mostly) missed me so been having some nice catchups.Bottom line;

School have been brilliant and they've found ways to include her in the activities she isn't allowed to do at the moment. (Yesterday she had a stopwatch and clipboard to record people's times in run a mile which she absolutely loved.
Got another graft review tomorrow morning so fingers crossed everything is still healing well.Bottom line;

The graft review went really well- it's almost all closed up now. She's got steroid cream on some of the site to settle down some of it that was healing too quickly (forming little bumps because the healing was ahead of the rest of the graft) but the best news is that she no longer is in a bandage (just a large dressing plaster) and so can go back to wearing normal shoes! Which was well timed as we were at a family wedding yesterday.
Wedding was lovely; and I'm not one to turn down a free meal.All in spent £79- £40 for present, £30 for petrol for journey and £9 on drinks (tab on bar lasted for 2/3 of the day and then there was wine on the tables for dinner.)
It's our biggest hobby weekend of the year this weekend coming; husband being a nightmare (stressing about the big dark thing that never actually happens) but it was always going to be so. I'm looking forward to catching up with friends- got some sewing commissions to finish in the evenings this week. In good news I get paid Friday morning so the supplies shop I'll need to do on Friday morning will come out of May's groceries budget. (I take a camping stove and easy meals to cook in the evenings which prevents overspending by getting a takeaway/going to pub every evening.)Bottom line;
