So i've finished the Laini Taylor trilogy just in time for the new book to arrive tonight. Very excited.
Also just absolutely smashed a lesson observation first thing this morning so that's calmed me right down. Plus management just dropped into my form time unexpectedly at 9am and my lovely new form played ball brilliantly, loyal little creatures that they are. So now the stress is off (until the head of education and learning drops in for an audit and lesson observations in 3 weeks time.)Bottom line;

In excellent news, I got home yesterday to a letter from work telling me that I'd been given a payrise! My headteacher had remembered the original figure I'd asked for last year and when the new staff budget started in September had put me forward for a payrise to reach that level. (Without me asking!) So I've been given another £2.5K a year which works out at another £105 a month. Not too shabby at all.Bottom line;

Congrats! Great news and well deserved. What do you plan to do with the extra money? Sounds terrible, but I hope you dont have to tell husband about it.Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

My plan is to siphon it to one side for the moment- build it into an EF for rental deposits/first month rent etc and then I've got it there if I need it.Bottom line;
