Husband sulking because i'm wearing makeup to go out. Rolled his eyes when I came downstairs and he saw me

He said "you dont want to have this conversation" so I said "yep fair point. See you later.

Waiting round the corner for my lift. I'm off out.

I had a great evening. :smiley Had a lovely time and other than £7 taxi didn't spend any money. Work bar tab covered 7 drinks and then i was bought 3 shots by friends on the education,  care and admin teams. Sat and chatted, drank, sang karaoke and danced for 5 hours.

Got home 45 mins ago to discover husband had locked me out (clearly was deliberate as he never locks doors ever and I arrived home exactly when I said I would) hillariously he's an open book when it comes to crappy moods and so I took a spare key to the never used conservatory doors out with me, let myself in that way. What a !!!!!!.

😱 What a good job, you had the foresight to take the conservatory door key. Glad you had a good night out🙂.

  • Glad your night was a lovely one. My husband locked me out once. He locked the gate and I wasn't tall enough to open it. I had to drag the bin down the lane and climb on top of it and launch mysef over. Had I not been drunk I doubt I would have attempted it.
    Keep one step ahead 😉

I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself and that you remembered to take a key. Don't tell him how you got in - he'll mess with that lock next time too. He makes me think of a term that my friend used a couple of weeks ago - he's a "mood hoover". He takes your good mood and tries to suck it out of you and take it away. So happy that you didn't let him.
  • Really glad you had a good time and that you outfoxed your husband’s attempt to lock you out. His behaviour really is unbelievably childish and vindictive.
