    That's my takeaway point from it.

    The poster is just ridiculous, I think I was supposed to say 'ooooh well you've told them there!' whereas it's just..... silly. They're a school management, they're not going to care if a TA puts up a narky poster, it just makes him look idiotic.

    In an ideal world my dad will hopefully get paid back at the beginning of July, then about 10 days later I'll casually mention that I've got my school work night out on the 23rd. It's a free bar covered by the school so all I have to do is budget for the group taxi we're getting back to town at the end- actually just realised I can use my £20 that i'd put aside for the Friday meal into a pot to cover that. :smiley: He gets funny about me going out, (shock horror there) but I'm going to wait until it's can't be made conditional on anything when I say that I'm going. (because I absolutely am)
    Bottom line;

    Car HP paid off

    Saved Escape fund and moved out.

    Good for you.
  • Just been catching up. Great news on the bikes, excellent find! Camping sounds like a lot of fun so hope you get to go for a bit of a break. And great thinking on the taxi for the work night out, definitely a deserved night off so make sure you go 😀

    So the audit went really well. :smile: Managed to get all the paperwork sorted in time, few small bits to modify however job of a few hours so I'll get on that next week.

    Lesson observation went really really well. The two classes i was seen with all behaved like little angels. (Including the previously illiterate year 9 lad who is now reading and writing at a year 1 level *proud teaching moment* He was an absolute gem- head down in his work, showing off his reading to the observer :smiley:

    Head caught me at end of day assembly to say she'd been raving about the lessons she'd been in.

    Hillariously my year 9 class she didn't come into all lost their minds and that lesson was spent doing no work and settling them back down so they didn't either abscond or try and fight other students, so very thankful she skipped that one!

    In other news I'm currently sat on my sofa watching Aquaman; daughter is ill- has a headcold and had two lateral flow tests (negative) but school have said she needed a negative test from a drive in centre before they'd let her back. So i'm off with her today. Got a nice lunch planned from food group stuff I picked up yesterday

    Nah we've got a younger one (10 months) who is my daughter's shadow- but is currently eating bugs in the back garden- can just about hear her miowing as she is chasing them!

     The one pictured is my 10 year old cat- she's super chill and really affectionate. Spends most of her time trying to sit on me or sitting within a few feet.

    Awww - she's very pretty. Ours is 12 and a total diva but utterly devoted to my son so I let her off her bad behaviour most of the time.
