In additionally happy news, had an email from the exam board this evening to say that I'm being given a bonus of £200 (ironic!) for finishing my quota before the deadline. Also they've increased what each paper is worth to mark for the extra batches as they're really struggling with people dropping out and not meeting their quotas; so the extra I've agreed will be worth £1600 rather than £800 if I can mark them all by next Wednesday. (Should be doable with the extra free periods at work due to lack of year 11s.)

Hopefully! Irritatingly- the extra papers haven't dropped onto my marking portal yet (I'm still being shown as 100% marked) which is frustrating on a day where I have 4 hours of free time (previously had 3 year 11 lessons on a Thursday) so I'm going to ring them first lesson and see if I can make enough of a fuss that they drop the papers today.

Yeah the extra papers have to be approved by the moderation team and that will be done "when it is done, as soon as possible" Just given the advice to check regularly to see if they have dropped onto my portal.

Still no exam papers but I've been paid £600 today for the first chunk of the original quota. I'm still owed about another £200 from that I reckon and then the £200 bonus (which they've said will be paid early August) So good news. The next £200 should be paid next Friday as they pay in weekly runs.
