Indeed. All I need now is for my employer not to fold!
I'm glad she called (she wasn't Scottish was she?) and you got your payments.
Not sure why such a big hullabaloo when it was something they could fix easily and quickly, but we are sorted (hopefully). I won't jump for joy until I get the letter of confirmation she says was sent out on Tuesday (two days before she clarified it all with me on the phone...)
It would be good to hear from others, as a fair few people were affected, by I hope from their silence it means they are now sorted and just didn't come back to tell us.

Do hope others are sorted too. Maybe they got fed up with us ringing, going on chat and sending letters? At least it worked in the end. No, my brilliant advisor that sorted it out wasn’t Scottish - I’d better not put her name on here, don’t want to get her in any more trouble! 😮1

@Gellar9 and @Kitten347
I'm pleased to hear that you both got it sorted. Twelve months ago this same problem would have affected me badly. But lucky for me I reached State Pension age 12 months ago and so was able to retire and give up working. Just in time too, as I then went on to have 3 more operations for arthritis.
Regarding the other posters - I have noticed that a lot of people join the forum asking for help with a problem and just seem to disappear. Which is fair enough I suppose but it's always nice to hear how something has been sorted out, especially when the news is good."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well."

Probably. We made them submit to us being persistentKitten347 said:Do hope others are sorted too. Maybe they got fed up with us ringing, going on chat and sending letters? I don't remember the name of the lady who called me, just that she was Scottish
I hope you are enjoying retirement. Sorry to hear about the arthritis. I have Osteoarthritis, amongst many other things, but no operations yet fortunately.whizzywoo said:@Gellar9 and @Kitten347

Yes, it's always good to hear how things turn out for people. I contacted LITRG so thought it would be good to let them know how it went and give some feedback as to what happened with HMRC, what HMRC wanted from me and so on, just so if they have others who contact them, they have a bit more feedback to fall back on.1 -
Gellar, I’ve got all the names of the ones I had on chat, printed it all out at the end😂
whizzywoo, enjoy your retirement. I think it was you who gave us the link to LITRG who I also contacted and heard back from. I’ve given them an update. Just hope this is the end of the long saga!1 -
Yes it was me who gave you the links to Rightsnet and LITRG. It was a subject I felt quite strongly about because it could so easily have been me having the same problem if I hadn't retired.Kitten347 said:Gellar, I’ve got all the names of the ones I had on chat, printed it all out at the end😂

HI all , I thought I'd update you, I sent my form in with a letter from me, summary from doctor, letter from CPN and physiatrist confirming I am and have been in the past in close contact with them.
It says it's processing now, 30th June is the date! I am nervous, my payments went up by £4 a few weeks ago also and they did a a double payment. I have a bad feeling, so worried, I am glad a few have got it sorted, I will phone, when I get a week off2 -
Kellybog, hope it all goes ok for you. It's the waiting and not knowing which is the worst. Maybe go onto chat if you have an online account. At least you can print out what was said at the end of conversation. Good luck!

Hope you get some positive answers soon kellybog

Eventually they will contact you. They just asked me the same three questions on the form, to confirm what I wrote was correct.1 -
Hey boys and girls, still no news and the chat thing has disappeared from my account, I'm going though terrible health challenges at the moment, I'm really mithered about this still also. Still 30th June and no one to chase on chat!0
