Argh. Bit of a minor setback. The mortgage break can't be taken this month, they've already arranged for the DD to come out on Monday. The guy who spoke to OH got it wrong. It's been rearranged for March ans April which is a bit of an @rse, but we won't starve and we wont be homeless so I guess we can live.0

Just checked the accounts and realised my car insurance hasn't come out. Then I realised that's because it's up in March and I have 2 months with no payments! Yay!
Time to start hunting for this year's policy!0 -
Remember to follow Martins It Pays To Watch tips! Should get a good deal and possible cash back.:j0

Have found my car insurance deal. Protected no claims, 3prty F&T... £228! Plus I get £50 back through Quidco! Will get that sorted at the end of the month. That will be £80 in my quidco account toward holiday spends. I have some ebay auctions due to finish tonight, only 2 of the 12 items have bids yet. People must be mad, the stuff on there is an absolute bargain. Still, I think I'll get a good price on at least one of the items on there. The rest I will hawk around family and friends afterwards.
OH gets paid tomorrow and I'm waiting with baited breath to get that first debt sorted. Plus, having the payment breaks on the mortgage is going to give me £880 to play with. I asked Hubby what I should do with it and... get this... he said "Well, I will leave that to you, you know what you are doing"... and gave me his HSBC gold card! That's been put in my "safe place" for all the cards. I need to hang on to at least one for the car hire on holiday.0 -

 My mobile is FUBAR. I have to get a new one. Means I have to scour around for the cheapest PAYG on 3 to stick my Sim card in. Cheapest I've seen is 40 quid. Ah, bum.0

A lot of people may only bit at the end, or use a sniper, so don't panic yet LOLMidlandsMum wrote: »OH gets paid tomorrow and I'm waiting with baited breath to get that first debt sorted. Wow, sounds as if things are going the right way chez MM!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
