Kazw - fingers crossed...I thought of you when I heard the house moving news. How embarrassing (but very funny) for your DIL!
Today's list has been done. WM, DW, bike ride and now off for a walk.
Hope everyone is well xx9 -
Kaz - I also thought of you when I heard the house market news! Fingers crossed the phone rings tomorrow.
Well, today I have been into the office and tackled 6 weeks of filing, papers, etc etc. It’s been a bit of a shock to the system. There were only 3 of us in a huge office and everyone is very conscious of practicing social distancing, hand washing, hand sanitiser etc so I felt safe enough. But it does worry me in general, going from 0 to 100mph (so to speak) with seemingly little control or guidance. Driving there was an experience as others on the road seem to have forgotten how to drive / give way / indicate - even more than usual. When I got home, I stripped the bed and ran the wm, prepped dinner, remade the bed while dinner was cooking. Washing now hanging indoors, I have WULTD and done HHI with my new iron. The house is a pit. I need to get myself back into a routine and get back to the lists. I’m not sure that anyone actually noticed that I had been out all day....11 -

Morning all,
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
HHI (actually more like 10 mins, I do each load as soon as it is dry as my ironing board is always up on the landing so everything is put away straight away)
Nails painted and not looking bad at all (DD1 has just reminded me hand sanitiser doesn't work on polish or false nails or jewelry)
Banking and finances next.

Good morning!
I have taken a peek at the lists today - thanks Valli! I have already done my usual round 1 as I am up, etc.
I think today I will plod on with the utility room. I also need to pop to the allotment to check on things there, and go to the shop - probably s@vers, as we need DW tabs and other cleaning stuff. I need to make sure I am stocked up if I return to work on the 1st!!
On that note, I have a cleaning question! As some of you may know, I am a childminder, which means that I will have children from other households in my home. I understand that I will need to be cleaning everything after they go home! I plan to utilise my garden as much as possible, and probably put some toys away or limit resources available (I usually allow free choice). The guidance states that soft furnishings should be removed if possible, eg soft toys, dressing up, rugs, cushions, sofas & carpets! Now, I am not fortunate enough to have a separate playroom, and use my through lounge/diner as my working space. The lounge is carpeted & I have leather sofas. I can wipe down the sofas, but how do I sanitise the carpets daily? Will a steam cleaner be ok? Although I'm not sure my current one has a carpet glider?
Ok - time for a list to get me moving!
Round 1
Wash up lasagne dish from last night
Check seedlings
Wash throws
Hoover LR
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to ASB and anyone else in need x
