Valli thanks for the lovely list today, I don't feel so bad now for doing pretty much nothing. Apart from cleaning the hoover and the dailies, I did some yoga and cross stitch this afternoon whilst watching the latest sewing beeCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:9

YL.. anywhere in the hospital or the street or the shops or your actual shopping or door handles or money or absolutely anywhere.. viruses are naughty and sneaky.. but you might just be tired or run down or have another illness.. and unless you are ill masks can increase the chance of you becoming unwell.. the WHO advise against them for well people (unless they changed their mind in the last 2 weeks!) ... Everything crossed you've just talked too much and need a good nights sleep
MIL sent home from hospital yesterday after testing positive.. what she came out with is worse than what she went in with.. filthy places!

Started the day with a long cycle ride with Mr N alongside the river to our nearest bird-watching lake. Beautiful but wore me out for the rest of the day.
- 1 load through dw
- vacuumed all downstairs rooms
- did a few greenhouse tasks
- finalised Mr I order for delivery tomorrow
- went to village shop to get new baby card for friend's daughter who had her son yesterday
- filled bird feeders

Another lovely sunny morning here hopefully a bit warmer than yesterday. The sun was lovely but the wind was bitter.
GoodIntentions, as far as things are being explained to us here is that carpets aren't a huge risk, vacuum but it is very very important to air, a good airing speeds up the rate at which the virus dries and dies. OH's office has signs on all the windows reminding them to open them for a certain length of time and they even have 'window monitors'. If someone uses a meeting room it must be aired for 15 minutes before anyone else can use it, part of the cleaning up procedure.
So far today

Good morning all
Sunny but oh so chilly here. I’m slurping my cuppa then it is off to work to sit in my isolated corner. I might see if I can revert back to the bedroom for at least a day next week.
I’ve been trying to get a shopping slot but to no avail. Toiletries are my difficulty, without going out. I’m obviously not dedicated enough as NDN have had 2 in 5 days...
Another lovely list, Valli. I might manage some later but it might be Friday Wine Night (vodka chilling for you, Piggers 😉), if any of you would like to join me later.8 -

Good morning! Slow start here again this morning.
I am up, dressed, breakfasted. Bank accounts have been checked, and done the friday money juggle. DW & WM is on, and kitchen is tidy. I plan to spend a few hours at the allotment, and will hopefully see a difference!
Round 1
Hang out washing
Make tea & pack up for allotment visit
Check seedlings
Madamoiselle thank you, that has made me feel a bit better. I think crawling babies is the main problem, but I think my crawler has started walking in lockdown! I plan to have the patio doors open as much as possible, if not all day!
YL I hope you are feeling better this morning

So far this morning I have
- read the final chapter of my book and found a space for it on the study bookshelf
- checked the route of the big plane flying overhead as I opened the curtains
- caught up with the news (no change there!) and FB (ditto)
- sent 2 emails
- received a text message which needs no reply
- did the hokey-cokey with the tomatoes and courgette plants (i.e put outside out to harden off in the daytime)
- ate breakfast whilst reading the NT magazine
- chatted to my friend S for about 10 minutes
- made yogurt for the next 7 breakfasts
- made butternut squash soup for lunch - it's gone chilly here, and nonecessary today
- S&S'd kitchen
I need to phone and get a house insurance quote today - AND make a decision on renewal or switching
