Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
Not sure what I'll be doing today but whatever it is will be slow. First I must wash up last night's dishes.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Good morning! I am contemplating getting out of bed.....I woke up early and it was sunny and I thought about going for a run.....but I fell back to sleep & I'm still here! 😂
I spent hours at the allotment, clearing a patch of weeds. I also managed to plant some broccoli & cauliflower. I still have 4 caulis to plant, because didnt clear enough 🤦♀️ I picked some fresh salad leaves & a radish. DH suggested takeaway pizza, but I made myself a chicken salad while they scoffed pizza 😇
We had a family zoom quiz last night, including DD2's BF, and DD1 & her BF. It was good fun and I am pleased to say that I got 10/10 for the round DH set all about him, so I am not in trouble 🤣
I need to get myself started, so I will post my usual daily Round 1....
Get up & dressed
Breakfast
Empty DW
Check seedlings (I almost forgot to put them away last night!)
Have a good day everyone!

Sorry to see so many of you have had a tough week. Hugs to all. Not just any old hugs you understand - humungous squishy Roundtuit hugs heading out - catch!
Time to rouse Weekend Willi and get some flying done. So far today I've slept til 7.30 (that's classed as a lie in these days). made my bed, sorted an online Mr M delivery for 27th as Mr T had no slots, declared my intention to lose weight on another thread, and drunk my morning brew.
Round 1 =
sort washing in to loads
set WM swishing with 1st load
breakfast and a second brew
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out the recycling
Take care, my lovelies

Have a good day MeandThe2! I hope DD has a good birthday 🎂
Round 1 complete, plus I have poo picked in the garden and caught up on my emails. I have consulted my toots list, and decided on a few garden jobs. The aim is to tick some things off that list so I can see I have achieved something, and to motivate me 😁
With that in mind, Round 2
Tidy pots in back garden
Plant bedding that I have
Pot on geranium seedlings
See you all in a bit!7 -
Morning all
I’ve been awol this week, struggling a bit.
I had a day off paid stuff yesterday and I did manage to food shop, menu plan and do some batch cooking so we have at least 4 evening meals ready prepped in the freezer now so pleased with that at least.
This morning I have given myself a shake, must stop dwelling on things I can’t change!Bedding stripped washed and on the line
Bedroom cleaned
ensuite cleaned
DH has just gone in to the garden to do some more fence painting, I’m going to get some bouncy music on and tackle the rest of the house. Back later x7 -
Round 1 completed except for breakfast and a second brew - too late now, so I'm having a coffee instead and we'll have brunch in a mo. Also changed the towels in the bathroom and put out the rubbish.
Round 2 =
check the weather forecast (it's cloudy but are they wet clouds or dry clouds?)
washing - peg out / put on airer (depending on forecast)
brunch

Morning everyone, sending relaxing weekend vibes to you all
So far today I've hoovered the bedroom & stairs (it picks up brilliantly now), strimmed the lawn and weeded a bit. We've never really bothered with the garden but i'm making an effort now, we've planted around 80 hawthorn hedges and loads of wildflower seeds. Going to buy some shrubs and dwarf trees to plant all over, it's a mudbath every winter so hoping it'll soak it up this year

Dry clouds
so washing pegged out and second load now swishing.
Bread smells extremely unpleasant - not eating that! - query sent to K1ngsmill. Learned how to defrost bread for fish finger sarnies. (I usually make toast with frozen bread, but a toasted fish finger sarnie didn't appeal)
What did we do without Mr G00gle????
