Good morning!
I thought about running again this morning......its the thought that counts, right? 😂
Round 1
Get dressed
Breakfast
Put on WM
The whole family are off work this week, so I don't know how much flying will happen. My plan this week is to clear out the summerhouse and maybe the shed ( which desperately needs replacing). DH's tools keep finding their way into the summerhouse which I am using for seedlings and toy storage, so I can't get to anything. The forecast is dry all week, so this should be do-able 😉7 -
Round 1 done
Just having my cuppa at my nice clean patio table and waiting for the WM to finish, then I will hang that out.
I think I will then head to the allotment to plant some stuff! DH & DS are sitting in pj's playing fifa and that will wind me up, so I may as well go out! DD2 has gone to 'meet' her BF for a socially distanced walk - the first time they have seen each other since before lockdown began!
Have a good day everyone! 😊8 -
Clean washing brought in and folded
I still need to fill a washer fully.. OH can bring the basket from the girls room in a bit.. he is cleaning himself at the moment.
Girls all fed and watered.
Boog having a breakdown and lost the will to live because the cat knocked an xbox controller onto his laptop screen yesterday and broke it so he has no laptop.. he has Apsergers and social anxiety so not only is it his sole contact with anyone outside of the house it is pretty much the lifeline to his sanity.. I'm not even sure we will survive until he can get it fixed.. he is having a complete breakdown and no one has a spare.. he can't even use a monitor without accessing the settings which he can't do because the screen is broken.
Ordering OH's present for our WA (29th) tomorrow and getting Twinkle the final birthday bits.. and Fabians too.. DS1 is getting him a laptop so the camera I thought about will be usable.. he can do photo editting then too! Might be fun!

Turned out the weatherman on telly was wrong....it's cold and windy here. Not the sort of weather to continue the pruning of our front hedge in the orchard. The Elder saplings have roared away, almost swamping out the other tree and shrubs, so I've cut some back and will do so again, once it's flowered and then had this year's berries. I love the flavour of elderflower and elderberries, so I'm hoping to collect some of both, and make champagne and cordial later in the year.
So, instead of gardening, I've been mooching about, making plans and collating a snagging list for different rooms in the house. The dining room is finally nearing completion but I have an unusual urge to hand-craft a macrame pot holder to hang from an old butchers hook on the main beam, so currently bingeing on You Tube videos on how to make one. I remember my mum doing loads of macrame in the 70's and she had a monkey's fist key fob that I covered for years, so I'm setting myself a challenge to learn this craft.
A summer house is on my wish list GI - I want a really big one with a hot tub, fridge and balcony, perhaps with a fire pit and comfy chairs too...but we have to tame that area of the garden first, which will need bush cutters and diggers.
Anyway, just cooked burgers and chips so everyone is fat and happy. Cup of tea then maybe some ironing for me. Catch you all later x7 -
Hmmmm so 4 hours at the allotment might just not have been good use of my time! Back now, I am showered, wm running with gardening clothes in so that I can’t get distracted again, dw running, just going to make a cuppa then I am going to run the vacuum cleaner around the DR. As it is now DH’s “office”, it never sees the light of day.7

Oh I would love a summer house, but we dont really have room for one unless we get rid of one of the sheds, which would mean DH getting rid of more stuff. DS1 has reorganised both sheds during lockdown and I think DH is traumatised by the amount of stuff that has been flung, but I can actually get my bike out now without climbing over stuff.
DH and DS1 have gone fishing, I sulked a bit this morning when they went as I cant do any of my hobbies. Asd@ order updated, LR throws washed, 2 hours studying done, bread made, casserole for the menfolk put in the SC - I will have veg chilli out of the freezer. Debating whether to go out in the wind and cold and do an hours gardening or curl up with my book. There are a lot of weeds in the front garden, it looks a bit unloved. An hour weeding wouldnt kill me would it?8 -
