Having a day in the shade today and then off for a bit of shopping later.

Budget done for the month. Out next 2 Saturdays for lunch and drinks, other than that a a few new work jumpers, hoping for a quiet month.

Feel like this is the first day I’ve relaxed since I came back from holiday.  Work Audit has been mad !  Planning a healthy productive November. Thinking of going back to Sw on Monday, we ll see.  Def need to do lots of decluttering and cleaning. Spending will be minimal now until Xmas. Booked a few nights away on New Years Day to Edinbrugh, so need to be mindful of that. Savings ticking along nicely.

Not much else to report, just looking for a quiet month,

Scrapped the New Years trip to edinbrugh for a long weekend in Majorca in May for my birthday. Half the price and half board. All set now for a quiet, low spend November.

Going to have to go out today and get some jeans and jumpers etc. Joined the gym again so need to pick up a couple of hoodies. Also need a trip to pound land for some essentials. Hoping £200 max covers it all. Got to think about getting booked in to get my hair done as well. Feel it’s got too dark so want to get some lighter pieces through it.

November and December are always spendy months for me, looking forward to having a look round the shops.

Will probably only save about £6OO now the rest of the year.

Seems quite boring now in the run up to Xmas, everybody is just ready for a break. I’ve really nothing much on and most of the Xmas stuff is bought so it will just be rest up and try and claw back some savings now before the end of the year.
  • Well done on having most of Christmas sorted!

Thanks I’m sort of at a loss with what to do with myself though, work is fairly quiet and everyone is quiet too! Booked my hair in for Saturday, going to get my roots done and a few highlights.  It’s past the point of needing done now.

Been looking at hols again and have booked a few trips in for next year. I’d love to be disappearing off now for a bit of sun but my dwindling AL won’t let me, plus I’d be funding it with savings.

Have to content myself until Feb when I’m off to Lanzarote for a week again.

Looking forward to closing the door on this year and seeing what I save in 2022 and if I actually find a house to buy.

Just done my figures in advance of payday. Savings have taken a tumble, booked a few hols for next year and got sorted for Christmas.

Down to £10,785.40.  Happy enough though, that’s the slate wiped clean now and ready to save again.
