Thanks, yes I think so too. Strangely I’m hoping the right one takes a wee bit of time to pop up as I want to enjoy the process and viewings etc.

Encouraging to see a couple of houses come onto the market today, nothing suitable for me though. Really hoping there’s some serious movement in January

So I’ve decided to go for a new build when they are released unless I see anything better come up in the interim.  Quite stressful all this. I’ve picked the house so would just need to be first in the queue with my booking fee when they are released.

In other news the machine at Asda just ate a tenner of mine and they couldn’t tell if I was telling the truth from the cctv so I have to wait until they check the machine in the morning. I’m not holding out much hope in hearing from them again about it.

Think I’ll keep a daily log of my spending on here to keep me on track. There’s nothing like knowing a mortgage provider is going to be looking at your bank account to keep you in check.

Today I spent £35 on petrol (took mum out for the day), £4 in ikea (new glasses), we went for a wander round to get some inspiration. £35 in Asda on groceries which cost me £45 if I don’t get that £10 back.

    Tomorrow is NSD.

NSD today again, pleased with this. Likely to go out tomorrow somewhere and usually get a New Year’s Day takeaway so tomorrow won’t be.

£9 today on a takeaway, didn’t go out in the end. Have a few errands to run tomorrow so saving anything I might spend til then.

Spent £36 today, was meant to be going to parents for lunch but something came up for them and they had to cancel so £4 on a subway for lunch. £32 in M&S stuff for lunches for going back to work and alcohol for tonight, enjoying my last Sunday of freedom before I go back to work.

Might go out tomorrow to get my car washed and need a few bits for work in Poundland other than that it will be a NSD

£13.50 spent today on other bits I needed. Have soup and grapes to take to work tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow will be a much needed NSD.
